The official weigh-ins for tonight’s CXF 16: Season’s Beatings in Los Angeles has taken place. The card features eight fights including two championship bouts. Both the vacant CXF Heavyweight and 155 Pound Championships will be decided.

Of the eight bouts on the card, five are professional fights while three are amateur fights taking place under the CXF D-League banner.
In the CXF Lightweight Championship fight, Darren Smith Jr. (MMA Record: 15-9) will go up against Dominic Clark (MMA Record: 12-8). Darren Smith Jr. is heading into the fight five wins in his last seven bouts. Dominic Clark has won two out of his last three.
Michael Quintero (MMA Record: 4-1) is facing Jack May (MMA Record: 10-5) for the vacant CXF Heavyweight Championship. Quintero, who is 2-0 in CXF competition, gained a submission victory over Art Rivas at CXF 13 on July 6th, 2018. So far in his professional career, all of Quintero’s wins have come by finish. His opponent, Jack May, will be going into this fight after having been eliminated in the first round of the 2018 PFL Playoffs this past October.
