The Dublin based MMA promotion Celtic Gladiator have announced the first fight for their upcoming United States promotional debut as they present Celtic Gladiator 13 at Florentine Gardens in El Monte, CA on July 14th, 2017.
In featherweight action, Systems Training Cetner’s Michael “Blackjack” Jackson (MMA Record: 0-1) and CSW’s Mark Matsumoto (MMA Record: 0-2) will both be entering the cage at the Florentine Gardens in El Monte looking for their first professional MMA victories.
Jackson will be going into this bout after being submitted by Jonathan Quiroz at CXF 6 on February 25th, 2017 in his professional debut. Prior to his pro debut, Jackson had won two of his last three amateur MMA fights.
Matsumoto also came up short in his bout at CXF 6 when he was submitted by Sergio Perez, and was finished by A.J. Bryant at King Of The Cage on September 18th, 2016. Before his professional debut, Matsumoto was victorious in his final amateur MMA debut.
Celtic Gladiator 13 takes place on July 14th, 2017 at Florentine Gardens in El Monte, CA at 7:00PM. Florentine Gardens in El Monte is located at 12051 Garvey Ave, El Monte, CA 91732. Tickets are available now at celticgladiator.shop.
