Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Mystery Vortex IV taking place on December 16th, 2016

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced via their Twitter account that the next PWG event set to take place on December 16th, 2016 at the American Legion Post #308 in Reseda, CA will be another “Mystery Vortex” show, where the majority of the matches and wrestlers on the show are not advertised to the public. Tickets for the event go on sale this Thursday, December 1st at 8PM PDT.

On November 16th, PWG announced on their Twitter account that the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament winner Marty Scurll will be challenging PWG World Champion Zack Sabre Jr in the possible main event of the show. With the announcement of this event being Mystery Vortex IV,  it is highly unlikely Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will announce anymore matches prior to the show.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla held their first “Mystery Vortex” event on December 1st, 2012, with Kevin Steen defending the PWG World Championship against Adam Cole in a Guerrilla Warfare match being the only advertised match in the weeks leading up to the show. Mystery Vortex II on March 28th, 2014 saw the debuts of eventual PWG regulars Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee, and a PWG World Championship match featuring Adam Cole defending his title against Candice LeRae. At Mystery Vortex III on June 26th, 2015, Chris Hero took on Zack Sabre Jr., Roderick Strong defended the PWG World Championship against Mike Bailey, and the Young Bucks made a surprise challenge to Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee for the PWG World Tag Team Championship.
