“The HeART of LUCHA” – Art and Culture Exhibition
In celebrating Latino art and culture, we present an experience that embraces the ever growing sport of Lucha Libre.
We will feature one of the largest Lucha Libre inspired art exhibitions in the nation with art work created by Artists located throughout Southern California, Japan, Mexico, Chicago, Kansas and the United Kingdom. This art experience will showcase many types of artists, art styles and mediums (classical paintings, sketches, drawings, street art, tattoo influenced art, prison art, mosaic, digital art, sculpture, photography and more).
The “HeART of LUCHA” – Art and Culture Exhibition will launch as an immersive and interactive experience of Lucha inspired art (over 100 artists on display), professional Luchadores discussion panels, LIVE Lucha Libre wrestling matches, special screening of the award wining documentary “Tales of Masked Men”, art & music performance, media/sport personalities, fashion, hybrid vendors, culinary delights and beverage.
This “Brown Carpet” event in in 2012 attracted audiences in access of 3,000 people from all over Southern California and Tijuana. This year we are preparing for more than double that amount in attendance. And, we are excited to announce that the HeART of Lucha exhibition has been invited to Santa Ana, the Arts District of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tijuana.
