West Coast Heavyweight Title Match
Ric Ellis (champion) vs. Ryan Taylor (challenger)
-West Coast Heavyweight Champion Ric Ellis is fast approaching his one-year mark as champion. In the past year, he has defeated Scorpio Sky, Jaysin Strife, Matt Twizted, Chris Evans, Tony Kozina, and even his good friend and tag partner Devin Sparks in defense of the title. On August 21st, Ellis looks to take on possibly his biggest challenge to date in a hardened southern california veteran and fast-rising star, Ryan Taylor! Ellis personally wanted to wrestle Taylor in defense of his title, but Taylor was unable to answer the call initially, as he was under the impression that he was booked in Mexico on that weekend. After searching tirelessly for a worthy opponent-and coming up short-we were all but ready to call it a day until Ellis informed us of some great news: Taylor had personally contacted him to tell him that on August 21st, he was going to show up and take the West Coast Heavyweight Title away from him. In light of Taylor’s methods, the champ has been left infuriated as he felt disrespected by the tone of the call. We have but one question. Has Ric Ellis finally been outmatched? Or will the heavyweight champion train faster, harder, and longer than he ever has, while pulling out all of the stops on August 21st in order to ensure the he leaves that evening still on top of the ladder?
Tag Team Match
Matt Twizted & Krazy Kyle Haystacks vs. The Suburban Commandos
-After tearing each other limb for limb in-hands down-the most brutal, bloody, and death-defying match in our company’s near 2-year history, Matt Twizted bested the overwhelming odds by defeating the undefeated Kyle Haystacks, earning the 20-year veteran’s respect in the process. After their encounter, and to a standing ovation, the pair shook hands as Haystacks announced that of all the guys in the locker room, he was personally requesting that Matt Twizted become his tag team partner as his body was becoming too broken to compete regularly as a singles star. Twizted readily accepted. “This was a huge honor for me tonight,” said a bloody Matt Twizted after the show. “Guys like Haystacks paved the way for guys like me and to teaming with him now is really a privilege.”
Haystacks was more than gracious to return the kind words. “F@#king tough. This kid has all the tools to make it in this business, but he just needs some guidance. He beat me tonight at my own game. He’s ready and I’m ready to get him there.” This newfound friendship/partnership is ready to be tested. And tested they will be…
The Suburban Commandos haven’t been seen since January, in which they were involved in a losing effort in a triple threat tag team match with SoCal Crazy & Chimaera and Violence Unlimited. After the match, however, T-Rent and D-Unit established themselves as a force by dominating every other man in that match, proclaiming dominance and sending forth a challenge that has yet to be answered… until now!
A brand new team will test themselves against two tenured tag team specialists and it all happens at Conflict Resolution 2!
West Coast Lucha Libre invades Wilomar!
Four-Way Lucha Libre Match for a shot at the Wildcard Title
Rudy Luna vs. Mexus vs. Thunderwolf vs. Mercurio Jr.
-Of all the competitors in this match, Rudy Luna’s determination to come out the winner has likely risen to a boiling point. At Casualties of War II, Rudy defeated Jameson Stafford for the title in dominating fashion. However, Stafford sleazed his way out with his belt after announcing that “Wildcard Rules” state that competitors must shake hands before the bell in order for the title change to take place. After getting screwed out of the title last time, look for Rudy to do anything he can to secure this victory. His task will not be easy, however, as Mexus and Mercurio Jr. aren’t showing up to their debuts to leave empty-handed. And as always, Thunderwolf is sure to have his sights set on a victory, as he is competing for his second shot at Stafford. This match will add an interesting dynamic to the show and is sure to deliver!
Singles Match
Devin Sparks vs. Vintage Dragon
-Nothing fancy here. Just good old fashioned singles action at its finest! Vintage Dragon was looking for an opportunity and he found one against the former WCWC Champion Devin Sparks. Sparks will undoubtedly be looking to keep the lucha star grounded, as Dragon will have to rely on his speed and aerial manuevers to stun Sparks every chance he gets. Sparks is coming off the heels of a loss to SoCal Crazy, so a victory here will be of most importance to him to keep him in line for a future title shot. Dragon has a chance to defeat a WCWC original star here and won’t be taking that lightly. This should make for a competitive encounter.
Wildcard Title Match
Jameson Stafford vs. Winner of the 4-Way Lucha Match
-Stafford looks to prove himself after having to slime his way out of giving up the title to Rudy Luna, and looks to do so by honoring his promise to grant a title shot to the victor of the lucha match. Will he stick to his word?
