There’s a new intro for the United Wrestling Network. It looked really corny. The DEEJ, DJ Hyde cut a shitty promo for a six man tag on this episode. The fucking moron didn’t even know the names of his opponents. Way to bury the talent, CWFH. This booking team is so fucking stupid.

The Office (DJ Hyde & The Classic Connection w/ the fake Marquez son) vs. Julius Coleman, Suede Thompson, and Brody King

So there was an actual story between DEEJ and Brody. Had it not been for the announcers, nobody would’ve known about it. This program is really awful at storytelling. Suede and Julius did double tope suicidas early on because Dan Parker. Brody and DEEJ had a brief showdown where Brody was jumped from behind. Suede Thompson’s character and his ring prowess makes me cringe, but he had some highlights here like doing a Tree Of Woe Double Stomp on the Classic Connection. The heels would beat up on Suede to get some heat before a predictable hot tag with Julius Coleman cleaning house. The Office won though. They’re building up to some DEEJ/Brody feud. Fuck this booking team. DEEJ has no value in this company as a top guy after losing two feuds in a row.

Backstage, Joshua Shibata interviews Rocky Romero about a match he’s going to have with Scorpio Sky. Wait, they’re having a match? Why wasn’t this built up? What the fuck is wrong with this company? So yeah, he cut a promo. Then there was a commercial for a phone sex line. Dave Marquez really is a shameless smut peddler.

The Killer Baes (Heather Monroe & Laura James) vs. Ruby Raze & Hudson Envy

The announcers talked about Ruby and Hudson having beef in the past. Now they’re a team again and there’s nothing wrong. The crowd was into Hudson Envy, and Heather Monroe was really entertaining in this as well. Laura James is really not well polished in the ring, but she was ok here. There wasn’t anything wrong with the match, but it was just the same formulaic match we saw in the opener. Heather was a face in peril, got beat up, then Laura James had a hot tag. The Killer Baes won with their finish. This wasn’t really bad, but it wasn’t good either.

Backstage, Shibata interviews Scorpio Sky. He talked about being a successful champion and talks Rocky Romero. This was a good promo.

Dicky Mayer (w/ Ryan Taylor) vs. Devin Sparks (w/ his young boys,  Ichi & Ni)

The story here was about Dicky being mentored by Ryan Taylor. Dicky was working over the arm of Devin Sparks for awhile, and Devin would make a comeback from time to time. Sparks’ young boys got involved trying to help him avoid being German Suplexed by Dicky. Ryan Taylor would take care of them, allowing Dicky to hit a German Suplex on Devin for the win. This was a really boring match. Looks like they’re gonna have Dicky do Ryan’s shitty gimmick.

Post match shenanigans: Some new guy interviewed Dicky. He cut a promo saying he can be the competitor he knows he can be with Ryan Taylor backing him. The Pac 3 was brought up which got Dicky upset. Ryan Taylor would interrupt him trying to instill bullshit hippie wisdom in him. Ryan Taylor’s gimmick is straight up WrestleCrap material.

After a commercial break: Joe Galli says Vickie Guerrero will be at the Red Carpet Rumble. Fucking why? Seriously. Fucking WHY?

United Wrestling Network Television Championship Match: Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Rocky Romero

CWFH really should’ve done a better job at building this up. You have two legitimate stars in a  championship match, but they’re having it on a throwaway episode with no hype.

The match was pretty even and methodical to start. Sky would work over the back of Rocky. The fake crowd noise was very distracting and took away from the match. It really came off bad when Rocky started to have a comeback and was trying to fire up the crowd. The final moments of the match had a bunch of counter wrestling and back-and-forth action. Rocky got the win after hitting Sliced Rocky on Sky to become the new United TV Champ. While this match was pretty good, but Rocky’s title win felt underwhelming because the lack of build up to a match. I’m sure Sky and Rocky will have a rematch sometime down the line, and hopefully it gets good build. Then again, knowing the creative team I doubt that’ll happen.

Final Thoughts

This was a very boring and uninteresting episode of CWFH. I really don’t want to repeat myself over rand over again. The show suffers from the same problems it always does: shit booking. That’s all I have to say about this episode.

Don’t just take my word for it. Check it out on the Fite TV app and decide for yourself.
