Finest City Wrestling has announced that they will have a six-woman tables, ladders, and chairs match as the main event of their July 22nd “Pow Boom Smack Wrestling Show” in Imperial Beach. The “Pow Boom Smack Wrestling Show” is FCW’s annual show that takes place the same weekend as the San Diego Comic Con International. The six participants have not yet been announced.

Also announced for the July 22nd FCW show is the return of Suede Thompson and Big Duke to the promotion.

Scott Lost, who was one of the six PWG founders and the 2008 Southern California wrestler of the year, will be doing a signing at Villainous Lair Comics in San Diego on May 6th as part of their Free Comic Book Day event. Lost retired from wrestling in 2010 to concentrate on his comic career. Villainous Lair is located at 3220 Adams Ave. San Diego, CA, 92116.

Dave Meltzer is reporting in the May 8, 2017 Wrestling Observer Newsletter that current PWG champion Zack Sabre Jr. will be a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual G-1 Tournament this year.

AWS has announced a few more matches for their July 29, 2017 show in South Gate. Lil’ Cholo versus Bestia 666, Douglas James challenging SoCal Crazy for the AWS Light Heavyweight, and Che Cabrera versus Hernandez have all been added.

Blood Brothers Pro Wrestling has announced the first matchup in their 16-man deathmatch tournament on August 19th. Guido and Moshpit Mike will be facing Homeless Jimmy and Chuey Martinez in an opening round match. The first round will consist of four tag team matches with the eight winners going on to face off in two four-way matches. The two winners of the four-way matches will face off in the finals.

Cen-Cal Pro Wrestling will be holding their next show on June 4th at The Graduate in San Luis Obispo. No lineup has been announced.

If FCW’s June 3rd show featuring Rey Mysterio Jr. was not already loaded enough, they have now added Joshua Shibata as an announcer.
