New matches announced for AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2

Coming off their 15th Anniversary event on March 25th, 2017, the Alternative Wrestling Show has announced new matches set to take place at their second joint show with Quintessential Pro Wrestling on April 29th, 2017 in South Gate, CA.

After successfully defending the AWS Heavyweight Championship against challenger Ryan Taylor on Saturday night, Tyler Bateman wound up being attacked by his (now former) H.A.T.E stablemates after Tito Escondido declared his aspirations for at shot at the AWS Heavyweight Championship. In the days following the 15th Anniversary event, AWS announced that Tyler Bateman will be defending the AWS Heavyweight Championship against Tito Escondido at AWS and Quintessential Pro Wrestling’s Joint Show #2 on April 29th, 2017 at the American Legion Post #335 in South Gate, CA. Also announced this week for AWS and QPQW’s Joint Show #2 on April 29th, AWS Lightweight Champion SoCal Crazy will team up with Mariachi Loco in a match for the AWS Tag Team Championship against defending champions B-Boy and Lil’ Cholo.

Earlier tonight, AWS promoter Bart Kapitzke announced that Houston Carson will be unable to make AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2 for his match against J.R. Kratos on April 29th due to reasons. As a result, Brody King will now be stepping into Caron’s place to take on the returning J.R. Kratos in singles competition at AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2.

Also presiously announced for AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2 on April 29th, 2017, QPW Heavyweight Champion Adam Thornstowe will be defending his championship against challenger Jeff Cobb, AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2 will also feature an All Women’s Rumble Match featuring Shayna Baszler, Laura James, Heather Monroe, Sage Sin Supreme, Buggy Nova, Christina Von Eerie, and more, with the winner of that match getting a QPW Women’s Championship match against defending champion Hudson Envy later that night. Plus Leva Bates goes one on one against Thunder Rosa, and Hania The Howling Huntress will be in singles competition against Sage Sin.

AWS and QPW’s Joint Show #2 takes place on April 29th, 2017 at the American Legion Post #335. The American Legion Post #335 is located at 9535 California Ave, South Gate, CA, 90280. Doors open at 7:30PM, bell time set for 8:00PM. Tickets are $30 for front row, $25 for second row, $20 for adult General Admission, and $10 for kids under the age of 10, with all tickets being $3 extra on the day of the show. And on May 27th, 2017, AWS will present their 5th women’s tournament on at the American Legion Post #335 in South Gate, CA at 8PM with first round matches featuring Candice LeRae vs. Hudson Envy, Ruby Raze vs. Jordynne Grace, Solo Darling vs. LuFisto, and Renee Michelle vs. Shotzi Blackheart, plus non-tournament action. Tickets for this event are $35 for front row, $27 for second row, $22 for adult General Admission, and $12 for kids under the age of 10, with all tickets being $3 extra on the day of the show.
