Today’s edition of SoCal News & Notes features updates on PCW, Mav Pro, FCW, Brave, VWE, FIST, PWG, EWF, and more. Click to read today’s SoCal News & Notes.

Kikutaro, who made his Southern California debut in 2000 at Revolution Pro wrestling as Kikuzawa, will be making his long awaited Southern California return with a couple upcoming shows. He will be wrestling for Maverick Pro on April 22nd and for Pacific Coast Wrestling on June 2nd. His last appearance in Southern California was at PWG’s All Star Weekend 11 in December 2015.

Former ECW star Super Crazy will be appearing on an upcoming Maverick Pro show.

Pacific Coast Wrestling will be holding a show they are calling “Young Guns” on April 22nd at Iguana Kellys in Long Beach. The show will feature Douglas James vs. The Oracle (possibly for the PCW Light Heavyweight title depending on the outcome from tomorrow’s show) along with a tournament consisting of Eli Everfly, Andy Brown, Fidel Bravo, Mariachi Loco, Brody King, Jake Atlas, Jacob Diez, and Jesse James. It is being billed as an interactive event where the fans decide the wrestler’s fate, with the winner being added to PCW’s June 2nd show. The show is ages 21 and up only.

B-Boy vs. Ryan Kidd has been added to the April 7th FIST Combat show in San Diego.

Lio Rush has been added to BRAVE Immortal Combat’s debut show on June 4th in San Diego. His match has not been announced yet.

Lio Rush, Rey Horus, Bestia 666, and JT Dunn have all been announced for the June 3rd Finest City Wrestling show in the San Diego area. Rey Misterio Jr. was previously announced. While the venue has not been announced I’m told it will not be their regular venue, but a larger building.

Thunder Rosa vs. Buggy Nova vs. Shotzi Blackheart has been announced for the April 30th SCWA at the Clela Arena in Los Angeles. The match will crown the first SCWA women’s champion.

Thunder Rosa vs. Sage Sin at April 22nd’s Venue Wrestling Entertainment show in Imperial will be for Sage Sin’s Baja Stars women’s title.

Ricochet will not be available for the April and May PWG shows as he will be out of the country on both dates.

Tickets for PWG’s April 21st show sold out in less than 3 minutes.

I’m told that more information on New Japan’s July 1st and 2nd shows in Long Beach would be made available “as early as this weekend.” They were passing out flyers for the event outside of March 18th’s PWG show, however the flyers had no new information on them. [Update: Ticket info came out tonight. See the story here]

Empire Wrestling Federation is still taking donation’s to help them recover from the fire that destroyed a lot of their equipment and their truck. Their backup ring was used at last week’s PWG show. You can donate here.
