Late breaking news, that will impact Empire Wrestling Federation tonight and possibly SoCal Pro Tomorrow Night. Is there anyone more interesting than Gary Yap’s Man In Black right now? Congrats to winner of the Red Carpet Rumble, plus more updates with the United Wrestling Network. Plus… all the matches, autograph signings, and seminars you can shake a stick at.
Although it’s only July, now is as good as time to start thinking about the SoCalUNCENSORED 2015 Year End Awards. I encourage all the fans, wrestlers, promoters, bookers, ticket takers, referees, videographers, friends, and family to get registered on SCU now. The board will close to new members after Nominations go up. And besides, it’s a great place to talk about wrestling. So get registered today and share your voice.
Tommy Wilson ran off the road!?!
Late breaking news, Tommy Wilson was ran off the road just minutes ago. No this isn’t a gimmick or a storyline, there was a legit automobile accident that unfortunately will prevent Tommy from appearing at tonight’s Empire Wrestling Federation show in Azusa, where he was scheduled to wrestle against Adrian Quest. This could impact tomorrow nights SoCal Pro event in Oceanside as Tommy was scheduled to team with Danny Limelight to take on Socal Crazy and Ricky Mandel. When asked if he’ll be able to compete tomorrow, tommy responded with “I’m not sure how I’m feeling. I think I’m alright but I’ve had matches were I have felt fine and woke up the next morning feeling like shit. So we shall see.” Everyone at SoCalUNCENSORED hopes that his condition isn’t serious and he’s back in the ring tomorrow night.
Here Comes The Man In Black
One of the most talked about wrestlers in SoCal Today, Gary Yap’s Man In Black faces off against one of the hottest talents from TNA, International Superstar TJ Perkins. This is a match that I was really looking forward to, but unfortunately I’m going to miss it. Gary Yap has worked tirelessly on amassing all of the video of his Man In Black and has made it available via YouTube that you can watch via http://www.VenetianMagenta.com. His feud with Andy Brown has been interesting as it seems like Andy Brown might be the only man in EWF to neutralize HIM. I was there to see the Man In Black take on Andy Brown at the last EWF Show and it was my match of the night. With any luck, this match may make its way to the aforementioned website and I know I’ll be one of the first to check it out. But seriously, who is the man in black?
United Wrestling Network
The Red Carpet Rumble was a hot night for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. A great crowd showed up to witness the Red Carpet Rumble. A new number one contender was crowned as “Pretty” Peter Avalon became the last man standing in the 30 Man Over the Top Rumble. It’s fitting that his journey with CWFH started as part of the opening match against Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana on the very first episode of the CWFH Program, nearly five years ago.
Newest episodes of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood are uploaded usually prior to the airing on Sunday Mornings. Included with your subscription to the United Wrestling Network are these one of a kind never before seen matches that have not been aired on the weekly CWFH Television Program; RockNES Monsters defending the Hollywood Heritage Tag Titles against Natural Selection with Percy Pringle III and Los Luchas from June 26th 2010 in Yuma Arizona, Daniel Bryan vs. Sean “X-Pac” Waltman from November 11th 2007 in Peth Australia, AJ Styles vs. Trent Barretta on June 14th 2014 at Port Hueneme California, and most recently added Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas (The Naturals) taking on Romeo Roseli & Antonio Thomas (The Heart Throbs) from the Tsongas Arena in Lowell MA from July 7th 2006. Wrestling legends Road Warrior Animal, The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan, former ECW World Champion “The Franchise” Shane Douglas, as well as Mason Ryan and Michael Tarver with all of your Championship Wrestling from Hollywood favorites, are all announced as being in attendance. Of course the Main Event of the Red Carpet Rumble is the 30 Man over the top rope battle royal, which will feature pro-wrestling legends, stars from around the United Wrestling Network and CWFH mainstays. Also, Kevin Martenson defends his Television Championship against Brian Myers (formerly WWE’s Curt Hawkins). “Mr. Azucar” returns to Hollywood take on debuting from the Pacific Northwest Colt Toombs.
