Last time he was in Southern California, TJ Perkins battled Extreme Icon Sabu for AWS. It was just a few nights later it was revealed that he was portraying Suicide now known as Manik for Impact Wrestling. Last night on TNA’s Impact, TJ Perkins defeated both Greg Marasciulo (Trent Barreta) and Sonjay Dutt to become X-Division Champion.
TJ Perkins is the 4th persona from Southern California to play the character. Previously both Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels have dawned the mask. Most recently Austin Aries wore the mask, stealing it from Perkins. TJ has previously worked in TNA under his PUMA mask and had wrestled a few matches as TJ Perkins.
