Ring of Honor officials are excited to announce that over the weekend in Louisville, TJ Perkins officially signed his name to an ROH contract. This young veteran has traveled the world to compete in Japan, the UK, Mexico, and the United States and faced the legends of the sport wherever he has gone.
TJ Perkins has fought sporadically in ROH over the years, and always impressed in his various outings, most recently in competition against Davey Richards at “SoCal Showdown II” and at “Manhattan Mayhem IV” opposite El Generico, but now he can definitively call Ring of Honor home.
“It’s a great asset to have TJ Perkins under the ROH banner.” said Jim Cornette, “There are few men as well traveled, as well seasoned, especially at such a young age, as Perkins and that experience is going to serve him well here in Ring of Honor. There’s not too many men who can match him for speed and technique, so the ROH roster is certainly in for a shake-up with TJ now part of the fold.”
TJ shared on his formspring that he’ll “…absolutely still be available to PWG, Lucha VAVoom and all the good stuff I normally do.” TJ Perkins is set to wrestle Rocky Romero at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s “Steen Wolf” October 22nd 2011.
