The Wrestling Revolution Project has announced 16 names for its new concept in producing Television Wrestling with the latest being Joey Ryan. The Man who brought sleazy back to professional wrestling will be joining the Cast of Wrestling Revolution Project. Yesterday, the man who partnered with Joey to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles, The Machinegun, was also announced as part of the WRP.
Joey Ryan has clearly been one of the most visible wrestlers in Southern California in recent years. Ryan has been a mainstay with PWG along with being one of the head trainers at Mach-1 Wrestling’s Wrestling 101 School. Ryan has appeared at various times with various brands of the World Wrestling Entertainment, Xtreme Pro Wrestling, Wrestling Society X, and until recently was heavily featured in NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
We briefly talked about the Wrestling Revolution Project in Jay Cal’s View #39. The WRP has already announced 15 names, with at least five more names expected. Interestingly enough, quite a few names on the list have spent some significant time wrestling in Southern California. Most recently Colt Cabana who most recently was working with NWA Hollywood and PWG and Fergal Devit who was an integral part of the Inoki Dojo. Tickets are still available for the WRP Television Taping, which is scheduled to take place on Oct. 11th, 12th, and 13th in Los Angeles.
