The Wrestling Revolution Project has announced 15 names for its new concept in producing Television Wrestling with the latest being Karl “The Machinegun” Anderson. The last time Anderson was in Southern California, was as part of the Mach-1 Pro Wrestling’s Hall of Fame Cup, reach all the way to the finals before losing to “Azucar” Rocky Romero. The past few years “Machinegun” has been teaming in New Japan Pro Wrestling with Giant Bernard to become one of the most dominant tag teams in New Japan’s History, holding both the IWGP Tag Titles and GHC Tag Titles. Prior to his time in New Japan, Anderson had teamed with Joey Ryan as the “Real American Heroes” winning the NWA World Tag Team Titles. Anderson was also a member of PWG’s Dynasty.
We briefly talked about the Wrestling Revolution Project in Jay Cal’s View #39. The WRP has already announced 15 names, with at least five more names expected. Interestingly enough, quite a few names on the list have spent some significant time wrestling in Southern California. Most recently Colt Cabana who most recently was working with NWA Hollywood and PWG and Fergal Devit who was an integral part of the Inoki Dojo. Tickets are still available for the WRP Television Taping, which is scheduled to take place on Oct. 11th, 12th, and 13th in Los Angeles.
