FitPit Pro: This Tuesday night, Rob black returns!

Rob Black To make His First Wrestling Appearance In Eight Years!

Fight Night On The Strip at the world famous Key Club on the legendary

Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, this Tuesday!

Promotion and hype has been active and prevalent in the Los Angeles area for The Pit’s Hollywood invasion as they present an alternative pro wrestling variety show this Tuesday, August 23rd on the Sunset Strip.

With just days until the big event, video has been released of Rob Black saying that he is going to “get the band back together” this Tuesday. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXmUmZGTAYY) For those that do not know, Black was the creator of XPW, the largest independent wrestling company in the country from 200-2003. After a run in

with the Feds over charges against Black’s parent adult production company, XPW went out of business, and Black served time in a Federal penitentiary.

Fight Night On The Strip is the brainchild of former XPW employee/worker GQ Money, as he intends to offer entertainment of all kinds in order to draw an audience to what he considers a freshly presented approach to wrestling. Having been involved in WSX on MTV as well, GQ is no stranger to trying alternative forms of wrestling entertainment.

“Anyone can put matches on paper, put a ring in a cheap venue, and call themselves a promoter of a wrestling show. I want to do something different. I want glitz, I want glamor and I want a wrestling product that matches where I’m based out of… Hollywood!”

When asked about the Rob black video, GQ had this to say, “I don’t know what Rob has in mind, and we have discussed XPW in the past. Unfortunately, it’s not his company anymore, so I’m not really sure what he’s talking about. If he wants to put the band back together, there will be a nice spot on the guest list entitled, XPW +4. I’ll even give him a mic.”
