NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling presents “Friday Fight Night” on Friday, August 6th at 8:05pm in Anaheim, CA!M1W Tag Team Championship Match
RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) (c) vs. Leo Blaze & Josh Worthy
– Two weeks ago, the team of Blaze & Worthy scored an upset victory over the champs in a non-title match which catapulted them into number one contender-ship. They solidified it this past Friday by scoring yet another upset victory over Los Luchas. Although both were by underhanded means, one can’t help but feel that momentum is definitely in the favor of the challengers coming into this one.
TJ Perkins vs. “Pretty” Peter Avalon
– Originally scheduled for this past Friday, this match was postponed to give Avalon the chance to debut in M1W friendly promotion, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Being the consummate professional, Perkins made the adjustment and still came out victorious in his updated match against Johnny Yuma. Now Avalon is back, and M1W wants to make good on the booking it had scheduled for this past Friday evening.
Scorpio Sky & Joey Ryan vs. James Morgan & Cedric The Hitman
– Cedric The Hitman scored the two biggest wins of his career in July, besting both Sky & Ryan in singles competition. These victories actually caught the attention of former M1W Champion, Morgan who hired Cedric as his personal Hitman in M1W. Now Sky & Ryan are teaming up again to get some payback on Cedric and a little redemption for their comrade Willie Mack who is seemingly always the target of Morgan’s vicious mean streak.
Andrew Hellman vs. Jason Watts
– These two were at opposite ends of the 8-Man tag team match at “Centre City Slam” and now Watts is looking to make an example out of Hellman, especially in the eyes of his rival Mikey Callahan, while Hellman is looking to give Watts his first loss in M1W and show everyone just why he scored the victory for his team at CCS.
Jacob Diez vs. Shaun Rickers
– Shaun Rickers might be lost without his partner Brian Cage, but he certainly isn’t losing any matches. Diez has had a run of success himself in M1W and might have the edge in singles experience here.
Nick Madrid vs. Kyle Webb (w/ David Troy)
– Nick Madrid has been caught up in a rivalry in M1W with Brandon Parker but must not look past the challenge of Kyle Webb, who always has a trick or two up his sleeve with his manager David Troy at ringside.
