The first pro wrestling fantasy camp
Live the real life of a wrestler, manager, referee, ring announcer, broadcaster or road agent/booker in Southern CaliforniaSan Bernardino, California July 2, 2010: American Championship Wrestling in cooperation with the Empire Wrestling Federation and the School of Hard Knocks will give wrestling fans the opportunity to live the real life of a wrestler, manager, ring announcer, referee or broadcaster for 4 days. The first camp is scheduled for August 11-15 2010. Campers will work intensively with the instructors, wrestlers and students of the Empire Wrestling Federation, and will graduate at an EWF live house show.
The camp gives wrestling fans deep immersion in the real day to day world of wrestling in their chosen capacity. Campers may select to appear as a wrestler, manager, referee, ring announcer or broadcaster. Classes will include basics of booking, promoting and running a wrestling show as well as match psychology and audio and video production. Campers will attend an Empire Wrestling Federation show backstage to learn how a wresting show works behind the scenes. The next day campers will work on a house show, including appearing on Empire Wrestling Federations new television program and Internet party after the TV show.
The School of Hard Knocks is located just east of Los Angeles, and is close to Disneyland, So Cal beaches and other attractions. Camp attendance is limited to 6 persons per camp.
