Westcoast Wrestling Company’s “Threat Condition Red: Our Service to Those Who Serve” takes place on Saturday, October 3rd 2009 at 3:00PM at Camp Del Mar on Camp Pendleton, CA. Click below for full details.Camp Pendleton, CA – Every day our armed forces wake up with one purpose: to make sacrifices in their lives so that we may live ours. The Marines on Camp Pendleton are no different.
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is located on the southern California coast, bordered by Oceanside to the south, San Clemente to the north, and Fallbrook to the east. Established in 1942, it was commissioned to train Marines for service in World War II. By 1944, it was named a permanent installation and by 1946, it became the home of the renowned 1st Marine Division. Named after Marine General Joseph Henry Pendleton, it is now the home of many myriad Operating Force units.
Every week, hundreds of Marines leave and return to deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other terror-ridden locations of the world. Camp Pendleton is home to more Marines and Sailors that face these challenging combat tours than any other base in the Department of the Navy. These unselfish, brave men and women do so without asking for a thing in return from the common U.S. Citizen, which is why we feel it is time to serve those who serve on our behalf by bringing professional wrestling to Camp Pendleton.

Possible Westcoast Wrestling Company Heavyweight Title Match #1
Chris Evans (If Still Champion) vs. Markus Riot (Challenger)
We want to offer some of the best challenges to our homegrown talents, and this match is no different. Marine Sergeant-and hometown hero-Chris Evans will be set for action against what will surely be a great athletic challenge for him in Markus Riot, and if Evans is still the champion after his ladder match with Jameson Stafford at “Wrestle War 2009” this will be for the belt! But will Evans be ready for this challenge? What kind of condition will his body be in just one week after his ladder match? Riot will surely intend on capitalizing on this. The spectrum, however, swings both ways as Riot will be fresh off the heels of a match with Devin Sparks, who I’m sure will do whatever he has to do to Markus to ensure victory and climb back to the top of the company. Both men will go into this match with something to prove. This match will most definitely not disappoint.
Possible Westcoast Wrestling Company Heavyweight Title Match #2
Jameson Stafford (if champion) vs. Socal Crazy (challenger)
The history between these two has been vastly overlooked, as these two have faced off numerous times, each with several victories over the other. However, it has been over a year and a half since these two were in the same ring and time changes many things. Socal Crazy has risen to prominence in southern California, while Jameson Stafford has been laying low, honing is craft in only several promotions. What kind of new challenges await each man? Stafford has seen a change in style, incorporating a more smash-mouth arsenal of moves and a slew of effective submission holds while Socal Crazy is still that much more a master of aerial and lucha libre styles. The match, as it stands, is booked to be a Wildcard Title match, but depending on the outcome of the ladder match on September 26th, this thing could possibly end up being a Heavyweight Title match! It’s hard-hitting, submission-style wrestling against athletic prowess, and it takes place on October 3rd!
Singles Match
Ric Ellis vs. Scorpio Sky
Ric Ellis has gone on the record as saying that Scorpio Sky cancelled his match with Ellis at “A Westcoast Summer” out of fear. He claims that Sky witnessed video footage of what Ellis did to owner Adam Ginsberg and backed down from the match. Sky has accepted this match to set the record straight. According to Sky, it is none of Ellis’ business why he had to cancel. He has said that he is showing up at this show to teach Ellis the meaning of the word respect. What better place for a veteran to beat some respect into a rookie than in front of a bunch of Marines?
6-Man Tag Team Match
The Card (Johnny Saovi & Doom) & Jeremy Jaeger
vs.
The Negro Division (Jason Watts, LTP, & Willie Mack)
This match is being heralded as the possible show-stealer of the day. The Card members Saovi and Doom will be eager to display more of their abilities following whatever may be the outcome of their tag team tables match at “Wrestle War 2009”. Jeremy Jaeger will be making his second appearance, as he was defeated by Chris Kadillak at “Casualties of War” and will be looking to recover from his debut loss. The Negro Division keeps no secrets as to what their intentions are: to seek dominance on professional wrestling. After being defeated by The Suburban Commandoes, LTP and Willie will be looking for retribution in the tables match on September 26th, plus a solid victory here in order to secure a spot for future tag team honors. As always, Jason Watts will be a difference maker, as his last appearance at a Westcoast show was a loss to Joey Ryan in defense of the EPIC WAR Title. Right on the boat basin of Camp Del Mar, the masses will witness as the bodies hit the floor.
Singles Match
Devin Sparks vs. Liger Rivera
EWF American Champion Liger Rivera will be on hand to knock Devin Sparks further down the ladder. Devin has commented, saying that as a former Heavyweight Champion, he will use Markus Riot as a stepping stone to elevate the importance of his match with Rivera. “When the Marines of Camp Pendleton see me cleanly defeat the EWF American Champion in the middle of the ring, it’ll go to show that my title loss was a fluke. I’ll make an example out of anyone that I have to in order to climb back to the top.” Liger Rivera could not be reached for comment, but one thing is for sure: the Marines will most definitely be solidly behind him and he will be there to take care of business!
Relaxed Rules Singles Match
Krazy Kyle Haystacks vs. Matt Twiztid
The history behind this match stretches back to March 7th at “Casualties of War” when these two tore into each other in a brutal street fight after Twiztid answered Haystacks’ challenge to anyone in the back. After teaming together to combat a common enemy in The Industry, the two have gone their separate ways. These two will already butt heads in the number one contendership fatal four-way match at “Wrestle War 2009”, but regardless of the outcome of that match, the Marines who attended their first encounter have spoken and this match has been signed! Haystacks has commented, saying that after he wins the number one contendership, he is going to finish off Matt Twiztid in quick fashion to ensure he is in good condition for the title match he is sure to earn claiming “it’s just business, nothing personal”. Matt Twiztid, who has been feeling the frustration of having been relegated to the mid-card after main-eventing the company’s first few shows, has said that this match will not end pleasantly for Kyle Haystacks. “Am I worried about ending a man’s career to advance myself on the card? Why should I be? Just as Haystacks said, it’s not personal. We may even go have a beer after the show. Who knows?” The referee for the match has already been instructed in advance to use his “best judgment” when it comes to the rules. This will make for a hard-hitting encounter.
ALSO SCHEDULED TO APPEAR: Muay Thai Kickboxing Champion Kru Ruben of the Extreme Power Gym in Oceanside, CA.
