Battle Ground Pro Returns August 29

Battleground Pro Wrestling presents No Way Affiliated, its latest professional wrestling spectacular, this Saturday night, August 29 in Los Alamitos, Ca. Click below for more info. This week the wrestling world was shocked to hear about the death of another professional wrestler from right here in Southern California. His name was Peter Zwissler, better known to the wrestling community at large as Peter Goodman. Though he never performed for BPW, he was a true friend to many of the boys on the BPW roster. Battleground Pro Wrestling plans to honor his memory with a ten bell salute prior to the show on Saturday night, and any wrestler who wants to share his memory of Mr. Zwissler will be welcome to do so.

The show looks something like this:

BPW Heavyweight Title Match

The Stepfather(C) vs. Skulu

At our last show, Skulu opened the show by defeating one of BPW’s most popular wrestlers, Roadhouse, in a very convincing fashion. Skulu, and his massive Pacific Islander section of the crowd, impressed the brass at BPW enough to be rewarded the main event match against the Stepfather, for the Battleground Pro heavyweight title.

Maximum Championship:

Chimaera(C) vs. Big Nasty Jason Watts

In a match sure to be intense and thrilling, former partners Jason Watts takes on the Maximum champion Chimaera. Chimaera is brimming with confidence after competing on the east coast earlier this month from Chikara Pro Wrestling. Will he have picked up a skill his former partner doesn’t know about, and therefore was unable to prepare for? We will see this Saturday Night.

Battleground Pro vs New Wave Pro Wrestling:

Foob Dog vs. SoCal Crazy(NWPW)

Kurokage vs. Locura(NWPW)

Earlier this month, at New Wave Pro Wrestling’s “August Anarchy,” Anchors Away placed an open challenge to any two BPW wrestlers. The Exiled appeared to accept the challenge, but after fighting with Anchor’s Away, the opponents were revealed to be Kurokage and Foob Dog. Therefore, New Wave has sent two of it’s masked superstars to challenge Kurokage and Foog Dog in singles matches.

The Exiled have issued an open challenge to any two wrestlers from New Wave

This situation speaks for itself. Who will accept the challenge? The only way to find out is to be in Los Alamitos on August 29.

Match 2 of the Poor Horsemen Gauntlet Challenge:

Xtreme Loco vs. Red Headed Stepchild

Loco wants another shot at the BPW title in the worst possible way. Last month The Stepfather told Loco he can have another shot if he defeats every single member of the Poor Horsemen in singles matches. Last month Loco absolutely destroyed Drunk Uncle Ronnie, leaving him a bloody mess. This month The Red Headed Stepchild steps up to the plate.

Roadhouse vs. Mr. MIT

Both Roadhouse and Mr. MIT have been on a downward spiral as of late in Battleground Pro, and both could really use a win at No Way Affiliated. MR. MIT is still feeling the loss of his number one study buddy, Ellen Degenerate, after she lost her spot in BPW at Independent Daze. It has also been 8 months since Roadhouse has won a match, getting his last win over the Drunk Irishman this past January. There is possibly more pride on the line in this match than in any other on the card.

Also scheduled:

K-Dubb vs. Anthony “Tank” Alvarado

Poor Horsemen(Johnny Webb and Drunk Uncle Ronnie) vs. Latin Heartthrobs(Val Viper and Hector Canales)

Johnny Goodtime vs. Wiseguy

Battleground Pro Wrestling’s No Way Affiliated takes place Saturday, August 29 at 8pm.

Doors open at 7:30 pm.
