If you asked me what my “perfect night out on the town with my friends” would be, and present one of the choices being a night of Midget Wrestling & Rock N’ Roll, that would definitely win. Hands down. So when an opportunity such as this hits my town, you better bet, I’m the first in line. Add one of the favorite local bands to the line up and we have a night of memories to be made. Enter, Orange County’s first ever, MIDGET WRESTLING & ROCK N’ ROLL night at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana. Featuring The Micro Wrestling Federation hosted with music by Franki Doll & The Broken Toys. It is a night not to miss. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Micro Wrestling Foundation, it is exactly what it sounds like, pure and untainted – MIDGET WRESTLING. The Micro Wrestling Federation, home of the worlds most professional Micro Wrestling athletes are set to come through Orange County in August and will be doing the only Southern California event of this tour at The Galaxy Theatre. The MWF was founded in February of 2000 and has been running strong ever since. The mission statement of the Micro Wrestling Federation is, “to show the world that we are equal, that we are serious athletes, and that we have the will and determination to succeed.” We ask you to come support these amazing little athletes with us. Since the beginning of time the general population has looked at Micro People (Dwarfs, Midgets, LP’s) under five foot tall as “Freaks of Nature”. In the entertainment world Micro’s were often used in comedic aspects in sports, movies, commercials, etc. In MWF our talent is an entertainment machine that provides a balance between serious “Sports Entertainment” with a touch of comedic value as well. Our “Micro Maniacs” walk away from one of our unique events feeling as though they know the Micro Entertainer as a talented performer.
Speaking of talented performers, this night will be hosted by Miss Franki Doll with live music from Franki Doll & The Broken Toys. When asked about the show, Franki Doll said; “This will, by far, be one of those nights that I will for sure feel like I, and the crowd got well more than our monies worth. This one may be, by far the most unique show to ever hit the Galaxy, aside from Gwar. Either way, if you miss it, you’re missing out big time.”
This event will sell out, so get your tickets now! The show will take place on August 13th at The Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana. Doors open at 6pm.
