Battleground Pro returns to its home venue in Los Alamitos for another evening of exciting professional wrestling. Unfortunately, BPW Champ the Stepfather will be unable to make the event, as this is Father’s day month, and Stepfather’s father’s day celebration requires him to travel to three states, Puerto Rico, as well as a small village in Mexico and a nomadic Inuit clan in Northeastern Canada.
Last month at May Day, Anchors Away scored a pinfall over the Exiled, and fired the first shots in a New Wave Pro Wrestling vs. Battleground Pro war. At New Wave’s last show, the Exiled ran in on Anchor’s Away’s match and cost them the New Wave titles. SoCal Crazy vs. The BPW Maximum Champion Chimaera
Chimaera will defend his belt against a competitor he knows all too well, as he and SoCal Crazy have been in the ring together many times, sometimes as tag partners, but recently as bitter enemies. Chimaera wants to make his reign as Maximum Champion a long one, as prove his name should be mentioned among the past Max belt holders, like Joey Ryan, B-Boy, Primetime Peterson, and Tech 9 Byron Walker
Locura vs. Anthony “The Tank” Alvarado
Tank Alvarado has decided to defend the honor of BPW by issuing a challenge to Locura, New Wave’s crazy man from the Happy Minds Mental Health facility.
“The Santa Ana Bad Boy” Roadhouse vs. “Big Nasty” Jason Watts
Roadhouse is one of the most popular wrestlers in Los Alamitos, and Watts has taken exception to The Roadie’s claim to being a “Santa Ana bad boy.” Watts has questioned the toughness of Santa Ana, and compared it to being a gangsta from West Newberry. Roadhouse plans to show Watts how tough Santa Ana really is..
“Rock and Roll Rebel Soul”” Johnny Yuma vs. “The Silent Warrior” Kurokage
Johnny Yuma is a competitor in both BPW and New Wave, so no one knows what side this self proclaimed rock star’s loyalties lie.
The Exiled (Chris Lyonz and Hellmuth) vs. Anchors Away (Dave E. Jones and Ryan Stone)
This match will be anything but scientific, as these teams have no love lost between them.
