New Wave Pro Wrestling will Present “Thrash Family Values” on Sunday June 14th at 5PM.
MAIN EVENT
The Aerial Star vs. “Rotten” Ronnie Thrash
Special Referee: NWPW Heavyweight Champion SoCal Crazy
The resident bullies of NWPW, The Thrash Family, have been running roughshod over the New Wave roster in the previous months. SoCal Crazy and Aerial Star have taken the lead in trying to defeat these 3 uncaring individuals. Ronnie Thrash and SoCal Crazy have a long history. Going back to “Unhappy Holidays” last November when Ronnie Thrash injured SoCal Crazy taking him out of action. At “Sweet Sixteen” it seemed like The Thrash Family had the advantage in a 3 on 2 Handicap Match. But, SoCal and Aerial Star came up with a gameplan to single out each member of the family and came out victorious. As usual from the Thrash’s, when handed a defeat they get angry. They took their frustrations out on the victors. Aerial Star, very upset following the attacks, demanded a match against the bigger member of the Thrash’s. SoCal Crazy not being one to back down from a fight demanded somehow to be involved in this match and was granted the spot of special referee. We’ll see how Ronnie Thrash and his brothers react to this on the 14th.
NWPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
(champions) Anchors Away vs. El Cartel
This is a rematch from “Sweet Sixteen.” The new team of Diamond Azul and Angel Santos really took it to David E. Jones and Ryan Stone last time. They just came a little bit short of the veteran tag team of Anchors Away. In their sophomore outing El Cartel has been heard saying they have some new tricks up their sleeve for the champs. These two can be very underhanded if need be, so Jones and Stone will have to keep a watchful eye out. Anchors Away has shown an evolution in their cohesiveness lately. They have been teaming now for over 2 years and learned a lot from some of the greats in Southern California. The rookie team of El Cartel might have some new tricks for Jones and Stone. But, Anchors Away might already have the answers.
Locura vs. “Brusin” Bobby Thrash
If you have spent any time with these two men, you would know that both of them are off their rocker. Trying to have a conversation with Locura is like trying to talk to a little child with A.D.D. He goes off on random tangents and most of it isn’t real words. Bobby Thrash is just out there. The elder Thrash has seen too many X-Files episodes and has believes in all sorts of government cover-ups and conspiracies. Either way both these men are unstable and unpredictable. It will be interesting to see what they come up with to destroy each other.
The Amazing Web vs. “Dirty” Dustin Thrash
If you were in attendance at “Sweet Sixteen” you heard The Thrash Family discussing plans behind the curtain and charging Dustin with a mission of taking out the biggest man in New Wave. Just prior to intermission as Ben Tomas was giving the fans information on an upcoming event, Dustin Thrash showed his dirtiness as he attacked Ben with a pan he found in the kitchen. Leaving Ben down and bloody, Dustin celebrated his way to the back. Dustin’s older brothers weren’t impressed with his attack though. It seems like the message sent to Dustin wasn’t taken in a way the brothers wanted. In the end, Ben found someone to exact his revenge on the Thrash Family. He found New Wave’s resident Super Hero The Amazing Web. The skittish little brother of the Thrash Family will have his hands full with the superpowers of Amazing Web.
Johnny Yuma & Chimaera vs. “Zero Gravity” Chris Kadillak & Liger Rivera
Kadillak and Yuma are not strangers to one another. In their first meeting Kadillak took the win in a one on one match. After getting cheated out of a victory in a Triple Threat match against Chimaera and Diamond Azul, Chris Kadillak is back to take out some aggression on Yuma. This time he brought a partner in Liger Rivera. Rivera is not some unknown in Southern California. He’s been around for a long time with an amazing and innovative high flying style. Yuma’s tag team partner in this match will be the former tag team champion Chimaera. Lately Chimaera has shown a little bit of sportsmanship after his matches and shaking his opponents hand. Leaving the audience and many wrestlers confused in his actions. Yuma not being one for sportsmanship will take a win by any means necessary. How will Yuma’s cheating ways get along with Chimaera’s new found respect?
