John Tolos, who was elected into the Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2003, passed away today at the age of 78.Tolos was born on September 18, 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He began his career in the early 1950s, frequently tag-teaming with his brother Chris.
Tolos’ match with Freddie Blassie at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1971 still holds the record for largest draw in Southern California history.
