SoCal Crazy ongoing battle with The Elite will continue as he defends the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Title for a second time against Scott Lost. Last month, SoCal Crazy was able to get a successful victory over Joey Ryan, however, the current SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion’s victory celebration was cut short as Scott Lost and Jason Redondo came to the ring and attacked the champion. Luckily, SoCal Crazy was helped from a friend as B-Boy returned to San Diego and came to the aid of the loco luchador. Even though SoCal Crazy has already faced and defeated Scott Lost back on August 9, 2008, he will need to stay focus for his upcoming title defense and not worry about the rest of The Elite.
Lost wants to defeat SoCal Crazy to become the third SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion and bring gold back in the possession of The Elite. In the past months, Lost’s associates Jason Redondo and Joey Ryan have been defeated to SoCal Crazy, but unlike his associates Lost guarantees that SoCal Crazy will be taken out for good and the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Title will come home to The Elite. Will SoCal Crazy leave Oceanside as the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion? Or Can SoCal Pro fans expect to see Scott Lost reign supreme as the new champion of SoCal Pro Wrestling?
B-Boy and Jason Redondo’s rivalry dates back to April 17, 1999 when these two wrestlers first met in the ring for the now-defunct California Championship Wrestling promotion. Ten years later, B-Boy and Redondo will once again meet one-on-one at SoCal Pro’s “2-Year Anniversary Event” in Oceanside, California.
Over the years, times and people have changed in the world of professional wrestling. On a recent interview conducted by one of Ric Dynamic, B-Boy stated he is not the same punk kid that Redondo always used to remember him as in the past. Redondo and the SoCal Pro fans will know and see why B-Boy is called The New Age Punisher. Find out on Saturday, April 25, 2009 if The New Age Punisher will be able to stop The Radiant One from climbing back on the rung towards the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Championship.
At last month’s “March Madness” show, SoCal Pro fans saw Tommy Wilson extract revenge by defeating and teaching Todd Chandler a lesson in wrestling. Cool Imagery also retained their titles by putting away the team of Johnny Webb and Red Headed Stepchild. Later that same evening, SoCal Pro fans witnessed The Ballard Brothers return to their old school roots with their hockey attire by defeating LTP and Willie Mack. Going into the six-man tag team match, all six of the wrestlers involved have different agendas that they wish to fulfill. Todd Chandler is a young sensation of SoCal Pro Wrestling who would really like to get the deciding win on Wilson. Another win for Chandler will only increase his already cocky attitude since he has pinned Wilson one time at the Riverside debut show. As for Wilson, he would like nothing more but to defeat Chandler a second time just to make Chandler’s cocky attitude diminishing in size.
The other four men in this match have a long history since the year of 2008 was dedicated to their feud over becoming the SoCal Pro Tag Team Champions. The Ballard Brothers want the SoCal Pro Tag Team Titles around their waists and they also believe that Cool Imagery did not really beat them in the Best of 3 Series to become the first-ever champions. Cool Imagery have come along way to be the best team in SoCal Pro by fighting their way through adversity and defending the titles as true champions. Cool Imagery put away such teams as Anchors Away on two separate occasions, LTP and Willie Mack, and team of Johnny Webb and Red Headed Stepchild. What will happen at “The 2-Year Anniversary Event” when these six men come face to face in the squared circle? Set your schedule for April 25 to see which one of these teams will walk out of Oceanside with their arms proudly raised and announced as the winners.
At “The 2-Year Anniversary” for SoCal Pro Wrestling, Johnny Yuma will face Chimaera in a match where the rules have been thrown out and everything will be perfectly legal. SCP Commissioner Durwood Murray decided to make the match between Yuma and Chimaera with the no disqualification stipulation since Chimaera’s vicious actions on Yuma last month. That night Yuma not only suffered from temporary blindness by being sprayed in the eyes with green mist, but he took home two huge scars on his back from a broken crutch. Yuma really wants to settle his personal issue with Chimaera in the No Disqualification Match and he hopes Chimaera does not try to skip this match or bring in another substitute opponent.
Looking at the stipulation for this match, Yuma seems to have a disadvantage considering since we all know what Chimaera is capable of doing in order to defeat Yuma for a second time. There is a saying in sports that goes by “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight; it’s the size of the fight in the dog.” The underdog Johnny Yuma will need to bring anything and everything that he has in order to to put down his toughest opponent and nemesis Chimaera. Come Saturday, April 25, 2009, The Rock ‘N’ Roll Rebel Soul will be ready to rock and roll over Chimaera’s Rage.
This singles match will be the battle of two wrestlers named Johnny as one comes from his parents’ basement in Scranton, Pennsylvania and the other makes his residence at any trail park that he chooses. The beginning of 2009 had its ups and downs for Goodtime since he sustained a broken orbital bone after getting punched in the face with Adam Pearce’s brass knuckles. The result of Goodtime’s injury made him unable to wrestle at February’s “Caged Fury” show in Oceanside. While many SoCal Pro fans and wrestlers thought that Goodtime would be out of action for a long period of time, he was able to return to SoCal Pro’s Riverside debut show against Scott Lost. Goodtime may have been defeated that night in Riverside, but he proved to The Elite that they could never bring him down forever.
Goodtime will proceed to look towards the future as he squares off against Johnny Webb for the first time in SoCal Pro. Last month, Webb made his Oceanside debut alongside tag team partner Red Headed Stepchild against Cool Imagery for the SoCal Pro Tag Team Championship. Webb and Red Headed Stepchild were unsuccessful in becoming the new SoCal Pro Tag Team Champions, but the duo’s efforts in the match somehow caught the attention of SoCal Pro Commissioner Durwood Murray. As Webb will be anticipating his first singles victory in SoCal Pro, his opponent Johnny Goodtime will be preparing to prove once again that no one in SoCal Pro including Johnny Webb can put a halt to his accomplishments and success. In a few weeks, SoCal Pro fans will find out which Johnny will be victorious at SoCal Pro’s “The 2-Year Anniversary Event” live in Oceanside.
