April 26, 2008, Jason Redondo became the first SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion. On that night Redondo made one guarantee and the guarantee was that SoCal Crazy would never receive a title shot until SoCal Crazy could prove his worth and run the TNT Championship Gauntlet. Each month, TNT handpicked opponents for SoCal Crazy in hopes SoCal Crazy would be defeated, but SoCal Crazy ended up defeating everyone put in his path. On September 13, SoCal Crazy and Tommy Wilson were teamed up together in The Final Gauntlet Match to take on Jason Redondo and Adam Pearce. SoCal Crazy pinned Adam Pearce for the first time after tasting defeat two times by the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Last month, SoCal Crazy was put into a tag team match pinning Redondo for the 1-2-3 and successfully proved himself as a worthy opponent to Redondo. Commissioner Durwood Murray has had enough with the antics of The Elite as well as TNT and ordered a title match to finally be granted to SoCal Crazy for November 8, 2008. Will SoCal Crazy finally gain Redemption from Jason Redondo and TNT and end the so- called “Hero’s” title reign or will Jason Redondo leave 2008 as SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion? Find out if a new SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion will be crowned in Oceanside.

“Redemption” is an appropriate name for SoCal Pro’s final show of 2008 as Johnny Goodtime and Evan Jelik battle Scott Lost and Joey Ryan in a tag team attraction with a lot in stake. SoCal Pro fans have not seen Goodtime and Jelik team up since “Lucky Number 13” this past June when The Ballard Brothers defeated the duo. Jelik just recently returned to SoCal Pro at October’s “Proving Ground” as he faced Chimaera only to be defeated in a hard-fought match against the high-flying luchador. As for Goodtime, Jelik’s tag team partner, he has been impressive breaking out on his own in singles competition and even received a title shot against Jason Redondo for the SCP Heavyweight Title. November 8th will be an important date and task for Goodtime and Jelik since their opponents will have revenge and more importantly want “Redemption” going into the match.

In the past, Goodtime has single-handedly defeated Scott Lost and Joey Ryan to show the SoCal Pro fans that The Elite can be broken. A defeat from Goodtime does not stand well in the records books of Lost and Ryan, as they have demanded to get Goodtime in the ring one more time and prove that The Elite is a strong unit. Commissioner Durwood Murray has granted Lost and Ryan’s request, but he did not want Goodtime to take on two members of The Elite on his own. Therefore, the sides will be evened up and the SoCal Pro fans will witness the first time encounter between the returning N.E.S. against members of The Elite. Which one of these teams will walk out of the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club with theirs hands raised in triumph?

The Ballard Brothers and Cool Imagery have been battling it out for over a year now, but the two teams’ most important match-up will occur on November 8. The Ballard Brothers have been declaring themselves as the official tag team champions since they brought their own titles to SoCal Pro back in April for “The 1-Year Anniversary Event.”

On August 16, 2008, Commissioner Durwood Murray found a good time to strip The Ballards of their “titles” when The Ballards’ match with Cool Imagery ended in a double pin thus resulting to no clear winners. The final match in the Best of 3 Series will decide which team will become the official and new SoCal Pro Tag Team Champions and finally put an end between The Ballards and Cool Imagery’s feud for 2008.

Last month, Shane Haste made his SoCal Pro debut as he faced “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Haste gave Pearce everything that he had and even took out C. Edward Vander Pyle, Pearce’s manager, who tried to interfere during the two wrestlers’ match. In the end, the young man from Perth, Western Australia was defeated by the two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and Haste did not walk out of Oceanside with the famous ten pounds of gold. At SoCal Pro’s next show entitled “Redemption,” Haste will indeed have a chance to redeem himself by facing luchador Chimaera.
These past months in SoCal Pro, fans have seen Chimaera go on a bit of a mean streak by literally being relentless against his opponents as well as showing disrespect and spitting on them after his matches. Will Shane Haste be able to stop Chimaera from unleashing more rage in Oceanside or will SoCal Pro fans see Chimaera continue his mean streak to become a top contender for the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Title? “Redemption” will occur on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in Oceanside, California.

Johnny Yuma has quickly become a fan favorite with the fans in such a short time in SoCal Pro. Whether he is in the ring or in his tour bus with your girlfriend, Yuma is always ready to rock. Yuma fell victim to Chimaera several months back and redeemed himself against the debuting Alex Saint at last month’s “Proving Ground” show.

Yuma also felt like he had to interject himself into Chimaera’s match against Evan Jelik and break up a possible further beating from Chimaera to Jelik. Will Yuma’s mind be stuck on Chimaera or will he be ready for “Petty Officer” Ryan Stone? We have seen the damage that Stone is capable of doing and he will be looking to make an example of the young “Rock ‘N’ Roll Rebel Soul” Johnny Yuma on November 8th.
