PWG’s Express Written Consent Postponed; 2008 BOLA Confirmed!

“Hey Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, didn’t you just announce your next event, scheduled for September 21, a couple days ago? Didn’t you begin advertising it?”
Why yes, yes we did. On September 21, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s next live event, Express Written Consent, was set to take place. Talent was confirmed, the venue was booked, flyers were printed, but shortly after the event was announced, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla was contacted by Dragon Gate regarding their company’s participation in the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles. While unable to agree on the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles target date of mid to late November, representatives for Dragon Gate were receptive of October. After speaking with The Burbank Armory, the weekend of October 31, November 1 and 2, 2008 was booked, and now it is official: the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles will take place at The Burbank Armory in Burbank, CA on Friday, October 31, Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, 2008 with Dragon Gate participation!We apologize for the postponement of Express Written Consent, and we do hope that our fans will understand that we would like to focus all of our efforts on making the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles the biggest and best Pro Wrestling Guerrilla event ever. While it wouldn’t have been impossible, promoting and holding another event prior to the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles would have made things considerably more difficult. We hope you will understand, and we hope you share in our excitement for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s signature event.
