A pioneer in Lucha/American hybrid wrestling events, AWS has brought fans the best of all styles of wrestling throughout the years. From established superstars to the rookies who would come to define the next generation of SoCal and international wrestling, AWS and Bart have brought you the best of all worlds. While the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions of AWS have always been the focus of most of the fans attention, the rivalry between the Ballards and the Young Bucks over the past several months has put the attention squarely on the tag team division. When a third brother tag team, the upstart Cutlers, stuck their noses into the now legendary Ballard/Jackson steel cage match last fall, it became apparent that regular wrestling rules were not going to be enough to get this war settled. In the main event of the 6-Year Anniversary Event, it will be 6 men, 3 teams, 2 titles and 1 hell of a lot of tables and ladders!
NWA World Heavyweight Title Match
Champion: “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce (w/C. Edward Vander Pyle)
Challenger: AWS Champion Lil’ Cholo (w/Mystery Manager)
If the 6-year run of AWS could be summed up in one person, that man would have to be the current AWS Champion Lil’ Cholo. From street fights with Lil’ Nate to steel cage matches with Lionheart to winning a 3-ring 60-man battle royal to finally defeating Al Katrazz to win the AWS Championship, there is little to nothing that Cholo has not done in an AWS ring. Nothing, except defeat Adam Pearce for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. In their one encounter last December, Cholo fell short of winning the title as Vander Pyle prevented him from making it back into the ring before the 10 count. Cholo has promised to have someone in his corner to counter Vander Pyle and allow him to concentrate on the championship. Adam Pearce has been busy with successful defenses across the country against the likes of Damian Wayne, Sterling James Keenan, Sicodelico Jr., Sean Waltman, Babi Slymm, Sean Denny and many more. Pearce knows enough not to take Cholo lightly and Cholo knows this is the opportunity of a lifetime. Do not miss this match!
AWS Jr. Heavyweight Title Match
Champion: TJ Perkins
Challenger: Scott Lost
If there is one match scheduled for this Saturday that should have security on high alert, it is this rubber match between two of the best pound for pound wrestlers anywhere in the world. Folks, this one just might steal the show! Perkins has had an amazing run as Jr. Heavyweight Champion since defeating the legendary Disco Machine last May. The one blemish on his record came in January in a non-title match with Scott Lost, a loss that many fans believed was unfair. There will be no tables or ladders, no pomp and circumstance, nothing but two great wrestlers giving everything they have to call themselves champion at night’s end.
Special Grudge Match
Human Tornado vs. Joey Ryan (w/Vander Pyle)
Not to spread rumors, but we in the NWA Pro office have heard that Joey Ryan and Human Tornado, well… they don’t really like each other. And if the battles that they have had throughout Southern California are any indication, this one could get ugly quick. Add the fact that there is extensive history between Joey’s manager Mr. Vander Pyle and Human Tornado and you have an explosion waiting to happen.
Nikki vs. Candice LeRae
Over the 6 years that AWS has been giving fans world class events, no single woman has had the success or staying power of the “New York Knockout” Nikki. It was a huge surprise to her when Candice LeRae was recently granted a shot at Amazing Kong and the NWA World Women’s Championship. While the women’s division in NWA Pro Wrestling has exploded over the past couple years with the additions of LeRae, Jade Chung, Carla Jade, Kitana Vera, Demonica Nakano and more, Nikki believes that her accomplishments and contributions have been overlooked and she intends on taking this frustration out on Candice this Saturday. Candice believes that this is her time and looks to work her way back into title contention.

Just as Slymm was set to take on former Wrestling Society X rival Joey “Kaos” Munoz, AWS learned that Munoz had been injured and needed a replacement. To the pleasant surprise of his fans, Bart Kapitzke was able to locate former AWS tag team champion Skulu in the deepest darkest jungles of Samoa. Another big man making his return to AWS after an extended absence is Brawlin’ Bo Cooper who will go one on one with one of the few men that can match his size and power, the Mighty Plague! AWS Ring Crew has been put on notice to reinforce the ring as either one of these matches has the chance of tearing the ring down!
