———————————-SOCAL PRO 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW APRIL 26th 2008
The Returning Al Katrazz vs. Jason Redondo w. TNT
Jason Redondo and Al Katrazz are no strangers to each other as it goes back nearly a decade with these two. We have not seen Al Katrazz for seven months and have no idea what he has planned for Jason Redondo as well as his manager TNT. These two first met up in SoCal Pro as they hoped to finish their feud in April 2007, but to everyone’s surprise, TNT joined forces with Jason Redondo and caused Al Katrazz the victory at the Debut Event!
With his sudden departure Redondo and TNT have taken out everyone put in front of them. We learned last month that SoCal Crazy would be facing Adam Pearce but Commissioner Durwood Murray had plans for Redondo. He made some calls and is bringing back Al Katrazz to San Diego where it all started to wrestle to become the first SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion! Will TNT help Redondo with yet another victory? We will all find out who will indeed be crowned champion on April 26th!
The Ballard Brothers vs. The Young Bucks
The history between the Ballard Brothers and The Young Bucks goes all the way back to the Debut Event on April 14th, 2007! The Ballard Brothers picked up the win with the fans demanding for a rematch with these two teams, as they couldn’t get enough that one night! We saw the re-match back in June of last year with the Young Bucks picking up the win over the Hated Canadians in what the Ballard brothers are calling a fluke! They, just like Jason Redondo are calling themselves the uncrowned SoCal Pro Tag Team Champions and are angry that there are no titles to show them the respect they want from SoCal Pro as well as the fans. With each team at one victory a piece it will be tough to pick a winner here but you can bet you will get your moneys worth with this match-up!
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match
NWA Champion Adam Pearce vs. SoCal Crazy
The NWA Champion has been really mixing things up since his debut in September 2007 against Al Katrazz, but over these last few months he’s really been after the most loved man in SoCal Pro and that is SoCal Crazy! SoCal Crazy sure made Adam Pearce wrestle his best back in January, but due to Jason Redondo and TNT coming to the aid of Pearce, the Ref was forced to end the match. Last month we saw the debut of Commissioner Durwood Murray as he made his presence known with his first announcement as commissioner. He called for the winner of the SoCal Crazy / Jason Redondo match to face a man that has been signed, and would be announced at the end of their match. Adam Pearce interjected himself to insure the win for his friend Jason Redondo. What Pearce didn’t know is that due to his involvement, he would be forced to defend his title against SoCal Crazy on April 26th! We will all see if Adam Pearce has what it takes to defeat SoCal Crazy as he is looking for some “real competition” for his world Championship!
Chimaera vs. Ricky Mandel (0-10)
Chimaera has been on a roll these last few months in SoCal Pro. He has been taking down everyone in his path, from Nick Jackson to SoCal Crazy, to even the man he will be facing on the 26th, none other than “The Mirror Image” Ricky Mandel. Ricky Mandel, as we all know, is 0-10 with his latest loss coming from the NWA Champion Adam Pearce on March 22nd! For some reason, Ricky just hasn’t been able to pick up a win over this last year with SoCal Pro, but he is really hoping to win at the anniversary show against the man who is hated by all fans, Chimaera. We don’t know if it is because he screams in little kids faces or if it is because he used the theme song Thriller once, but the fans hate this man! We will have to wait and see if Ricky can finally end this losing streak! Ricky has faced Chimaera several times in and out of SoCal Pro, so we will find out what will happen, live on April 26th!
Johnny Goodtime & Evan Jelik vs. Cutler Brothers
Johnny Goodtime has been getting himself into trouble over these past few shows with the Cutler Brothers. We don’t know too much about these brothers, but we know they can handle themselves in the ring. On March 22nd Brandon’s brother accompanied him ringside and caused a DQ in his brothers match. Goodtimes tag team partner Evan Jelik was not on the show and wasn’t even seen in the building so we don’t know where he came from as he dove into the ring to save his partner from a double team!
On April 26th we will see Johnny Goodtime and Evan Jelik teaming up to face the Cutler Brothers.
