Back on September 16th wrestlers from the HPW roster showed No Remorse for their opponents at the Downey Elks Lodge. As a result of the aftermath HPW sanctioned another heavyweight title defense for “Mr. Instant Replay” Matt Jackson as he takes on the man who beat him at No Remorse “the Professional” Scott Lost.Main Event for HPW Heavyweight Championship
Matt “Mr. Instant Replay” Jackson© vs. “The Professional” Scott Lost
Once again in a non title situation Scott Lost scores a victory over our heavyweight champion. Because of this victory and his win against Kaos from No Turning Back, the match makers of HPW signed the rematch to happen on Sunday October 28th. In recent events Scott Lost was able to defeat Matt Jackson , but in non title situations. Will this be the opportunity Scott needs to finally gain 15 pounds of gold around his waist? Or will Matt Jackson prevail in another successful title defense?
Dynamite Fury vs. Blazing Riot
Dynamite Fury and Blazing Riot are both teams looking for a fresh start in HPW after suffering from various conditions like a brutal war, or a string of unwanted losses. Dynamite Fury want to focus on their future in HPW and leave Charles Mercury and Ray Murillo in their past, while Blazing Riot want to forget their loses to Ronin and Guerrero De Sangre, and TJ Perkins and Bino Gambino and get their first win as a tag team in HPW. This match could change the destiny for both these teams in HPW, but only one team must walk away with a victory.
Scorpio Sky vs. Johnny Paradise
Scorpio Sky makes his HPW return at Unfinished Business when he takes on a man he has never faced in one on one competition. Johnny Paradise has been looking forward to this match up ever since they trained together at the Rudos Dojo during the hay days of the folded Revolution Pro. While Scorpio Sky was winning Junior Heavyweight Championships and Tag Team Championships Johnny Paradise was struggling to get noticed by other promoters. The HPW match makers as well as the fans took great notice in Paradise when he defeated Human Tornado in a falls count anywhere match at HPW’s Resurrection event (which is available on HPW DVD). Will Paradise impress the fans and match makers again with his performance against Scorpio Sky at Unfinished Business? Or will he regret the day he wished for this match?
Ronin vs. “Slick” Nick Jackson
This will be the first formal singles match for these young competitors. They faced off at No Remorse in a huge tag team main event to hopefully settle the score between the Young Bucks and Scott Lost and Ronin. Prior to the tag team match Nick Jackson would meet Ronin in the ring in order to save his brother Matt from gang beat downs at Resurrection and No Turning Back. Nick is seeking his first HPW singles victory while Ronin wants another shot at the Heavyweight Championship down the line.
Angel vs. Johnny Goodtime
Back at No Remorse Angel became the self proclaimed “Sexiest Man in Wrestling” after defeating Sexy Sonny Sampson. This victory also retains his undefeated streak in HPW which started back in 2004. Johnny Goodtime has been looking forward to his chance to impress the match makers of HPW however, he was hoping to face an opponent less unorthodox as the Hardcore Homo. Goodtime may want to face the top brass of HPW but he has to get past Angel’s undefeated streak before he can move on to other competitors.
