Battle Ground Pro Wrestling returned once again to the American Legion Hall in Newhall this evening for their year-end blowout bonanza spectacular. The main event saw BiG Pro Heavyweight Champion “Brawlin’” Bo Cooper successfully defend his title in a controversial pinfall over “The Rock Superstar” Kaos w/Jezebel in a 12-foot chain match when a second, unofficial referee counted a pinfall as Kaos had his foot on the rope. Also sharing the main event was the finals of the tag team tournament to crown the first ever Battle Ground Pro Tag Team Champions when The Awesome Plague and Crayz, led by Commissioner Jason Bennett, stole the win over The Stepfamily (The Stepfather and The Red-Headed Stepchild w/“Drunk” Uncle Ronnie) to become the first ever BiG Pro Tag Champs when Plague knocked out the Stepchild with Uncle Ronnie’s cowbell. But the REAL main event was when ring announcer Ben Tomas proposed to his longtime girlfriend just before intermission. 2. Joey Harder defeated Foob Dogg via pinfall.
3. The Young Bucks (Slick Nick and Mr. Instant Replay) and Midnight Dynamite (Charles Mercury and Johnny Paradise) were both disqualified when the referee threw out the match as a no contest.
4. Los Luchas (Zokre and Phoenix Star) defeated “The Technical Wizard” Joey Ryan and “The Professional” Scott Lost via pinfall.
5. The Human Tornado w/Candace LaRae and Disco Machine defeated “The Wholesome Hero” JT Hyatt via pinfall.
6. “Marvelous” Markus Riot defeated Silver Tyger, Li’l Cholo and Infernal (c) in a four-way elimination match to become the new Battle Ground Pro Lucha Libre Champion.
Order of elimination: Infernal defeated Silver Tyger via pinfall; Li’l Cholo defeated Infernal via pinfall; Markus Riot defeated Li’l Cholo via pinfall.
7. The Awesome Plague and Crayz w/Jason Bennett defeated The Stepfamily (The Stepfather and The Red-Headed Stepchild w/“Drunk” Uncle Ronnie) via pinfall to become the inaugural Battle Ground Pro Tag Team Champions.
8. Battle Ground Pro Heavyweight Champion “Brawlin’” Bo Cooper defeated “The Rock Superstar” Kaos w/Jezebel via pinfall to retain the title.
