MAIN EVENT – AWS TITLE MATCH
Champion: Al Katrazz (w/C. Edward Vander Pyle)
Challenger: Brawlin’ Bo Cooper
In their first one-on-one encounter in Frank ‘N’ Sons as well as their first singles battle since the debut SCCW show almost two years ago, the Big Man from the Big House takes on the man who is Crude, Rude, and Tattooed. Al Katrazz’s performance at Bart’s Bunkhouse Brawl eliminated any and all claims that his title reign was undeserved. Al Katrazz entered the battle as the first entrant and outlasted all 31 other entries to retain the belt. But this victory was not without controversy as the number 2 entry was Brawlin’ Bo Cooper, who outlasted all others as well to stand in the end with Al Katrazz. As both men went over the top the only thing that prevented Al Katrazz from hitting the ground was his manager Mr. Vander Pyle, who stopped Katrazz’s momentum, thus allowing him to sneak back into the ring as Cooper hit the ground. This time it will take more than over the top rope elimination to win as the two biggest men in AWS fight for it’s greatest title one-on-one. The ring is reinforced and the ambulance is on stand-by!
AWS LA Light Heavyweight Title – Lumberjack Match
Champion: Lil’ Cholo
Challenger: Lionheart
Possibly the most intense feud anywhere in the NWA, Lil’ Cholo and Lionheart have done battle on several occasions for Cholo’s Light Heavyweight title with results being that neither man is anywhere near finished with the other. At the last AWS event the two never even made it into the ring shortly for their scheduled match-up. Shortly after eliminating each other in Bart’s Bunkhouse Brawl, the two were set for one-on-one action.
Unfortunately for the fans, this match never materialized as the two spent the next 10 minutes brawling throughout the crowd and the stands before referee Joe Furrer called the match a no-contest. To prevent the same thing from happening, AWS Kingpin Bart Kapitzke has ordered the rematch to be a Lumberjack Match! If these two wish to take the fight outside the ring, there will be 10 or more AWS stars waiting on the floor with instructions to throw them back in the ring. We will see a winner this time!
AWS Tag Team Titles on the line!
Champions: Midnight Dynamite (Charles Mercury & Johnny Paradise)
Challengers: Babi Slymm & Human Tornado
The tag team scene in 2006 in NWA Pro can be summed up in two words:
Midnight Dynamite. The tandem known as Merc & Jerk has spent the better
part of the year defending the titles throughout Southern California after
winning them from Los Chivos back in February. After several near losses,
most notably to Bump & Grind (Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino), Midnight Dynamite
felt their toughest challenges were behind them until Bart Kapitzke
announced their opponents would be two men who are no strangers to winning gold at Frank ‘N’ Sons – former AWS Champions Babi Slymm & Human Tornado! For the first time the champions will enter the match as the decided underdogs. Can Mercury & Paradise pull off the upset or will we finally see the belts change hands!
Six-Man Free-For-All
Joey Ryan vs. The Plague vs. Tommy Wilson vs. Crayz vs. Scott Lost vs. ?????
One of the most interesting matches on the card will feature this battle
featuring two established tag teams, Plague & Crayz and Lost & Ryan as well
as the popular Tommy Wilson and a sixth man who is no Johnny come-lately
looking for a Goodtime. Despite previous allegiances and friendships, this
match is every man for himself with the winner being granted a title shot of
his choosing in AWS!
“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce (w/Vander Pyle) vs. Ferguson Block
The Australian Invasion of NWA Pro has seen some of the best wrestlers from
the land down under step through the ropes at Frank ‘N’ Sons including Mikey
Nicholls, Hartley Jackson, Davis Storm and Bobby Jo Marshall. One man who
has gone under the radar has been the 6’3”, 245 pound Ferguson Block. The big Aussie is no one to overlook, yet hasn’t been able to make his mark on the American scene. He can do that with a win this Saturday over top American
star and former AWS Champion Adam Pearce. Pearce and his manager Vander
Pyle nearly came to blows at the last AWS event after Pearce continued a
near yearlong losing streak in his strap match with Aaron Aguilera. Cooler
heads prevailed and the longtime partners in crime vowed to stick together
and return to dominance. Will the trip back to the top begin Saturday or
will Block be able to take advantage of the disarray in the Vander Pyle camp
and score a huge win here in the states?
Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson vs. The Legendary Sexy Chino
Since beginning his rampage of Southern California in January, Karl Anderson
has mowed down the competition with his imaginary machine gun and his
legitimate ring dominance. One thing that has stuck in Anderson’s craw is
the love and admiration that has been shown on someone the likes of Sexy
Chino while Anderson himself continues to be showered with hatred. In order
to prove how wrong the SoCal fans are, Anderson demanded this match with
Chino. Chino refused to back down from anyone, including the braggadocios
Anderson. In the past two years, Sexy Chino has proven to be many things,
but if one of those is not bulletproof, he may be in for a rough time at
Frank ‘N’ Sons!
Hell-A-Good (Andrew Hellman & Pete Goodman) vs. The Young Bucks (Slick Nick & Mr. Instant Replay)
Upon their creation in the midst of the insanity of Bart’s Bunkhouse Brawl
it was apparent that the team known as Hell-A-Good would become an instant threat to tag teams everywhere. Their first match as a team should go a long way to proving if they are for real as they take on the upstart Young Bucks who are coming off a win over the legendary tandem of Los Chivos. These two teams stand to dominate the tag team scene for some time to come. Be a part of history as their first encounter takes place this Saturday!
Be there and see the best in professional wrestling action as the National
Wrestling Alliance returns to the Frank ‘N’ Sons Arena and the Alternative
Wrestling Show!
