Revolution Pro side of things, including a Heavyweight title match. Also 3 matches from the Revolution X which includes a xtremecore match and a women’s match, two of the stable matches that Rev X offers. And finally, as a special sneak peak/treat for the fans, C-4 will present a mystery match for those that haven’t seen this unique and special brand of match that is offered every October.
Revolution Pro Side:
MAIN EVENT
Spirit of the Revolution Finals
Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match
Quick Silver
vs.
Phoenix Star
– Spirit of the Revolution offered fans some exciting
matches over the summer of 2004: rival vs. rival, tag partner vs. tag partner, student vs. teacher. With it’s unique rules that awarded more points for
submission victories, all 8 competitors literally went
for the kill to garner the most points. It was a
contest of stamina, of strategy, and of heart. But in
the end, two men remained… two men that will surely
give the fans an exciting battle. Quick Silver made a
picture perfect return from his neck injury via
winning block A on June 13th, pinning Disco Machine,
making Topgun Talwar tap, and going the time limit
distance with tag partner Scorpio Sky to earn 9 pts.
Phoenix Star upseted all on July 23rd by defeating
Ronin, and then losing to Angel. Down 3 points,
Phoenix had to make Super Dragon submit if he wanted
to win the whole thing. In an upset, Phoenix did the
unthinkable and got Dragon to tap out. Now, in a
rematch from the Rev J 2003, Quick Silver will battle
Phoenix Star. There will be a clear cut winner as it
will be 2 out of 3 falls. Again, stamina, strategy and
heart will be tested in this one. Will Quick Silver
win and get recoginition as a stand out singles star?
Or will Phoenix Star upset the world again and get the
biggest win of his career?
SEMI MAIN EVENT
Spirit of the Revolution Parejas Incredibles
Elimination Match
Scorpio Sky, Topgun Talwar, & Disco Machine
vs.
Super Dragon, Ronin, & “Hardcore Homo” Angel
– With victory comes loses. All 6 of this men gave
their all and fell short. Now it’s about bragging
rights and personal pride. Now each block after
fighting each other will have to work as a team as
only one team can remain in Revolution Pro’s specialty
match, the 6 man elimination match. There’s been many
past 6 man elimination matches in Rev Pro’s near 5
year history and they have all been nothing short of
unbelievable. Who could forget the 6 man in the summer
of 2000 in Anaheim, the classic Don’t Call It A
Comeback match of the year 2002 in Pomona, or the
brutal, non-stop Pride of the Mask III elimination
match in October of 2003… just to name a few. Will
personal animosity play a factor with these teams?
Rivalies will be renewed. There can only be 1 winning
team, but the real winners will be the fans in this
one.
Revolution Pro Heavyweight Title Match
“Photogenic” Chris Bosh (c)
vs.
The Human Tornado
– Chris Bosh has become very cocky lately. Even since
upseting Super Dragon on June 13th, Bosh thinks he has
accomplished it all. In Harbor City, he barely got
past Topgun Talwar and escaped with the title still in
hand. Going into the joint show on July 24th, Bosh was
upset that he wasn’t in the Spirit of the Revolution.
He claimed he had beaten them all and had another left
to prove. With that said, he announced he was retiring
from wrestling as the Heavyweight champion. That’s
until the popular Human Tornado came down to the ring
and ran Bosh off. Tornado, with no hesitation, dove
from the ring to the floor onto Bosh. Tornado took the
belt and laid the challenge out to the pompous
champion for the next show. Now it is official. Will
the arrogant champion find a way to retain the title?
Or will Tornado prove to be the fastest rising rookie
to gain the Heavyweight gold?
Revolution X Side:
Xtremecore Six Man War
“The Rock Superstar” Kaos, “The Human Horror Film”
Supreme, & Mongol
vs.
Cyanide, Buddy George, & “The Evil One” Lonestar
– Revolution X fans know all about this one. This is
all the result of what happened on July 21st in South
Gate. In a xtremecore match, Buddy George and Lonestar
defeated the team of Cyanide & Mongol. Even with the
help of “The Rock Superstar” Kaos, the team of Cyanide
& Mongol couldn’t get the job done as Cyanide lost for
his side. Mongol and Kaos didn’t take losing too
kindly as they took it out with a vicious beating on
Cyanide until Buddy George saved him from the beating.
This brings Cyanide to the side of the men he went to
war with and now Cyanide & Buddy George & “The Evil
One” Lonestar are looking to go to war with Kaos &
Mongol. Down a man, Kaos called upon family and on
August 7th, you will see the return of “The Human
Horror Film” Supreme to Revolution X action! South
Gate has housed many of xtremecore battles, now Frank
& Son’s better be prepared as nothing and no one is
safe in this environment.
Los Cochinos (Charles Mercury & Big E. Biggz) w/
Jezebel
vs.
King Fuji & Johnny Paradise w/ Dino Winwood
– With a Revolution Pro tag team title shot on the
horizon, Los Cochinos are looking for a warm-up bout
as they battle King Fuji and the recently shaven head
of Johnny Paradise. Cochinos are coming off a huge win
against the Sanchos in a 6 man match from last month.
Winning this match could bring their confidence to an
all time high going into their August 18th title shot
in South Gate. King Fuji, who usually teams with “The
Master of Nakedness” BJ Samson, will be going with a
man that has alot to prove in Johnny Paradise. After
being beaten, humiliated, and shaven in Harbor City in
July curtosy of “The Technical Wizard” Joey Ryan and
losing a big tag match against Quick Silver and Human
Tornado a couple days later, Paradise is looking for a
major win to get him back on track.
Also, Revolution X side will feature a women’s match
featurning one half of the New York Knockouts Nikki.
Finally, the C-4 side of things will feature a mystery
6 man C-4 style match. Who could they be? Your guess
is as good as mine. Once upon a time, a major meteor
hit Southern California and what was brought to us
were wrestlers that weren’t your normal wrestlers or
normal fed, no it was Cawai Chupacabra Combat
Collision (C-4). Such gladiators as Gigzila, Biggie
Big Bird, Survivor Talwar, Vinturn The Chef, Coco The
Mime, Vampire Stryker, Justin Timbersnake, King Baby
Popo, Mr. Kool Aid, Mr. Mom, The Snack Pack, and The
Blind Ref just to name a few. If you love comedy and
wrestling, you’ll love this match and C-4.
