Revolution X Wrestling returns to the Allen Theater in
South Gate courtesy of Veronica Caine and Associates
on Wednesday night August 18th @ 7:30pm with another
huge line up.
Xtremecore Tag Match
“The Rock Superstar” Kaos & Mongol
vs.
Cyanide & Buddy George
– Revolution X fans know all about this one. This is
all the result of what happened on July 21st in South
Gate. In a xtremecore match, Buddy George and Lonestar
defeated the team of Cyanide & Mongol. Even with the
help of “The Rock Superstar” Kaos, the team of Cyanide
& Mongol couldn’t get the job done as Cyanide lost for
his side. Mongol and Kaos didn’t take losing too
kindly as they took it out with a vicious beating on
Cyanide until Buddy George saved him from the beating.
Now Cyanide will team with the man he was once against
in order to seek revenge on both Kaos and Mongol.
Revolution Pro Heavyweight Title Match
Chris Bosh (c)
vs.
The Human Tornado
– Chris Bosh has become very cocky lately. Even since
upseting Super Dragon on June 13th, Bosh thinks he has
accomplished it all. In Harbor City, he barely got
past Topgun Talwar and escaped with the title still in
hand. Going into the joint show on July 24th, Bosh was
upset that he wasn’t in the Spirit of the Revolution.
He claimed he had beaten them all and had another left
to prove. With that said, he announced he was retiring
from wrestling as the Heavyweight champion. That’s
until the popular Human Tornado came down to the ring
and ran Bosh off. Tornado, with no hesitation, dove
from the ring to the floor onto Bosh. Tornado took the
belt and laid the challenge out to the pompous
champion for a title shot at any show, Revolution Pro
or Revolution X. Well he’s getting both. Reguardless
of who wins on August 7th, the rematch will happen on
August 18th in South Gate. This marks Chris Bosh’s
return to Revolution X since February 2004. Will Bosh
even be champion going into this? Will Tornado be the
champ?
Revolution Pro Tag Team Title Match
Los Sanchos – AWC & Angel (c)
vs.
Los Cochinos – Charles Mercury & Big E. Biggz w/
Jezebel
– These 2 factions have been battling ever since that
night of Cinco De Mayo, when the Cochinos and the Boy
Band made a statement at the expense of AWC. Ever
since Cinco De May, the Cochinos group of Charles
Mercury, Big E. Biggz, and R2K have been on a hot
streak, picking up wins against the Sanchos on June
2nd and on July 21st. This isn’t the first time the
Cochinos have gotten a title shot against the Sanchos.
As the Sanchos defended the team of Biggz & R2K on
June 30th. Now the team of Mercury & Biggz will give
it a go against the champions. AWC & Angel have been
undefeated in 2004 as a tag team, so the Cochinos will
have to have a sound strategy to pull it off. Will we
see new tag team champions? Or will be the Sanchos
finally shut up the youngsters once and for all?
Mixed Tag Team Match
New York Knockouts – Nikki & Valentina
vs.
Los Gallineros
– Mixed tag team action will be seen on August 18th as
the undefeated tag team of the New York Knockouts will
wrestle everyone’s favorite chickens, The Gallineros.
This isn’t the first time the girls and the chicken
have gone at it. On June 2nd, the Knockouts defeated
the unique team of Sexy Chino and El Gallinero in
their intergender contest. Now, El Gallinero has
called upon his family to try to be the first team in
Rev X to defeat the Knockouts.
The Boy Band – Ronin & Phoenix Star w/ Dino Windwood
vs.
Topgun Talwar & ???
– Originally suppose to be The Boy Band of Phoenix
Star & Ronin vs. Los Sanchos of Topgun Talwar & Zokre,
Zokre has been forced to pull out due to a knee
injury. Now Topgun Talwar has to find a tag partner to
go against one of the biggest stables in Rev X, The
Boy Band. Ever since Dino Windwood’s involvement in
the contractual side of things for The Boy Band, they
have received title shots and main events like
promised. With both Ronin and Phoenix Star suffering
title losses to Scorpio Sky, now they are looking to
prove themselves in the tag team scene and climb that
ladder. Topgun Talwar hasn’t had the best of luck
lately in Rev X action, ever since returning he has
yet to win. However, you can’t count out Topgun’s roid
rage as he can explode at any moment. Who will be his
tag team partner?
Quick Silver
vs.
Johnny Paradise w/ Dino Windwood
– One half of the Aerial Express and finalist in the
Spirit of the Revolution, Quick Silver will be going
one on one against Boy Band member Johnny Paradise. At
the last show, Paradise’s team scored a victory over
the AXP and The Human Tornado. Now Quick Silver is
looking to prove that he can defeat the Boy Band by
himself and it starts with Johnny Paradise. However,
the x-factor could be Windwood as he has proven to be
a factor in past matches.
Plus Veronica Caine, John Lambert and Jason McCord!
