(Anaheim, CA/May 30, 2004) – Today during the Pacific Media Expo, New
Japan Pro Wrestling Co. Ltd. – USA announced that they have completed
negotiations with Southern California television stations KVMD- TV channel
23.
NJPW – USA plans to produce three one-hour programs in a single setting.
NJPW – USA President and CEO Simon Inoki states ” I am very proud of our
new relationship with KVMD-TV. The station owners, Mr. Ron Ulloa and Mr.
Terry Crosby are going to be great business partners. Together, I know we
will make NJPW – USA a success and I thank them for allowing the LA
Wrestling fans the chance to see local TV wrestling again.”NJPW – USA also hopes that non-NJPW talent shows interest in the Inoki
Dojo and inquires about the company. The first television taping will is
scheduled to take place on June 26th at The Inoki Dojo located at 3200
Olympic Blvd. in Santa Monica, CA. Tickets will be for sale at the Inoki
Dojo. The show will begin promptly at 6:30 PM and tickets are $15.00.
Seating for this event is limited.
Talent scheduled to appear: American Dragon, Puma, The Havana Pit Bulls,
Adam Pearce, Aaron Aguilera, Bobby Quance, Vampiro. The show will also
feature Samoa Joe defending the Ring of Honor World Title for the first
time on the West Coast and Heat making his California return to defend his
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title.

KVMD Channel 23 is Southern California’s newest full power television
station serving the entire region, including Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura,

approximately six years but came under new ownership in October of 2002
and is now focusing on Local Sports Programming for the Southern
California Region.
