Revolution Pro is proud to announce the next big event
on Saturday, June 12th at Frank & Son’s Collectible
Card Show with a bell time of 2pm. This event will be
the beginning of the Spirit of the Revolution 2004
Round Robin Tournament and will be followed up with
two HUGE title matches involving our Heavyweight title
and Tag Team titles, plus two more battles for
“respect”.First the return of the tournament that started it all
in Revolution Pro, the Spirit of the Revolution
Tournament. This is a special round robin tournament
that has been resurrected from 3 years ago and was the
highlight of the summer of 2001. Now this tournament
will be the highlight of the summer in 2004 by taking
place at Frank & Sons over the course of 3 months.
Phase one begins in June with 4 wrestlers competing
with each other all in one night for the chance to go
into the final phase. The 4 wrestlers who will compete
in this phase are the current Junior Heavyweight
champion Scorpio Sky, his
tag team partner Quick Silver, coming off fresh from
his tour with Osaka Pro in Japan the Disco Machine,
and the man with the most controversy in Rev Pro,
Topgun Talwar. Here are the matches from Block A that
you will see on June 12th:

– Disco Machine vs. Topgun Talwar
– Scorpio Sky vs. Disco Machine

with in the weeks to come.
In other action two big title matches one for the
Heavyweight title and one for the Tag Team titles.
Revolution Pro Heavyweight Title Match
Super Dragon (c) vs. TARO
– In our Heavyweight Title match, Super Dragon will
defend his title in a match that is said to be a huge
title match and a rematch from our 4 Year Anniversary
Show when Dragon defends the title against the
returning TARO??? Dragon was not available for
comments but look for an exclusive interview with TARO
very soon for www.revolutionpro.com as to the details
on the return of TARO.
Revolution Pro Tag Team Title Match
La Familia De Tijuana (c) vs. Los Sanchos
– In the other title match, the current number 1
contenders for the Rev Pro Tag Team titles, Los
Sanchos (AWC, Angel) challenge the reigning champions
La Familia De Tijuana (Damian 666, Halloween). This is
probably one of the biggest matches to date in the
career of AWC as he is no stranger to Damian and
Halloween. Years ago when AWC was breaking into the
business, it was La Familia who took him in to train
him in a career in Lucha that would escalate for him
with help of former Mexican Heavyweight champion
Konnan. Even in the beginning of Revolution Pro, AWC
suffered a lost to Damian 666 in a one on one contest
back at the original dojo. In tag team action, AWC has
faced La Familia on two occasions with Street Styles
and suffered losses both times, once in XPW in a 4
corner match for the Tag Team titles and again last
year in the semi finals of the Rev Pro Tag Team Title
tournament also with Street Styles. La Familia and
Angel have crossed paths once before in November at
the 4 Year Anniversary show when Angel tagged with
fellow Sanchos member Zokre, with La Familia again
getting the duke. But this time Angel and AWC have
been tearing up the tag team division in Rev Pro, Rev
X, and FMLL to make them the next challengers for La
Familia.
Grudge Match
Zokre vs. Chris Bosh
– This one all began back in Revolution X. With the
Sanchos and the Aggressive Thrill Attraction raging
their wars in South Gate, Chris Bosh took the
opportunity to take out one of the most popular
Revolution Pro stars in Zokre at April’s Revolution
Pro show. In what was scheduled to be Zokre vs. Jardi
Frantz, Chris Bosh attacked Zokre from behind, thus
putting Zokre out of the shelf for the better part of
April and early May. Even though his knee isn’t quite
100 percent, Zokre just couldn’t wait to get his hands
on the photogenic one.
Grudge Match
Joey Ryan vs. Johnny Paradise
– Once a tag team, now enemies, Team Charisma had high
hopes for their partnership and strive for perfection.
However, Team Charisma just could never get it
together and pull off a win in Revolution X. Without a
trip to pay window, plus Joey Ryan’s departure from
Rev X to Rev Pro due to trade, Johnny Paradise had to
take matters into his own hands. With the help of Dino
Windwood, Johnny Paradise finally got the big money
and scored a win in Revolution X. Now with Joey Ryan
in Revolution Pro, Joey’s first match was against
Ronin. Not only was it the fact that he wasn’t teaming
with Paradise, Joey Ryan lost once again. With all
these factors in play, Paradise turned his back on his
once partner, kicking him in his sore knee after his
loss. With both men going different directions and
personal pride on the line, who was the real star in
Team Charisma?
