Revolution Pro Heavyweight Title Match
Super Dragon ©
VS.
“Mr. Bling Bling” Babi Slymm
With the competition in the Heavyweight division being at an all-time high,
many people have felt worthy of getting first crack at Super Dragon and the
Heavyweight gold. However, one man has been waiting for his deserved rematch.
Much to Revolution Pro’s surprise, when given the standard drug test, number
1 contender Topgun Talwar failed to produce a urine sample. Revolution Pro officials
evaluated the situation and listened to the fans and now the former Heavyweight
champion Babi Slymm will get his rematch against the champion Super Dragon.
These two had one of the greatest Revolution Pro Heavyweight title matches
ever last March at “One Step Beyond.” It was an evenly fought back
and forth brutal contest, with Super Dragon surviving it and winning the Heavyweight
title from Babi Slymm. Now with the rematch set, the locker is buzzing over
who will win. Was it a fluke? Does Dragon have what it takes to defeat Slymm
again? Will Slymm’s posse be in full force once again on May 15th? It was bound
to happen again, in another historic match… Dragon-Slymm II – The Remix
SEMI MAIN EVENT
Revolution Pro Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Scorpio Sky ©
VS.
“Photogenic” Chris Bosh
Once upon a time, Scorpio Sky and Chris Bosh were the best of friends. In
2001, they would both travel, along with Quick Silver, to train to become what
they are today. In 2003, both Scorpio Sky and Chris Bosh earned their full time
spot on the Revolution Pro roster by respectively winning the Fight For The
Revolution tournament. Along the way, both Bosh and Sky have crossed paths in
various tag team encounters and even fought each other in the opening round
of the Revolution J tournament in September 2003, which Scorpio won with his
dreaded triangle choke hold.
Then, in November 2003, Chris Bosh and the AXP’s relationship was shattered
when Bosh joined the Aggressive Thrill Attraction and denounced his friendship
with them. Last time these two met was in December 2003 at “Big Show For
A Big Man” when Chris Bosh and Rising Son defeated The Aerial Express.
In a mostly 2 on 1 encounter towards the end, Bosh scored the win over Sky with
his Screwdriver onto a steel chair. With the series 1 to 1, this will be the
rubber match, with the covenant Revolution Pro Junior Heavyweight title on the
line.
NUMBER 1 CONTENDERS MATCH
“Los Sanchos” – AWC & Angel
VS.
“Aggressive Thrill Attraction” – Rising Son & Disco Machine
Two of the top tag teams in Revolution Pro will fight it out for the number
1 contender’s spot for the Revolution Pro tag team titles. These teams are fairly
familiar with each other, as they will carry over their rivalry from Revolution
X into this very important match on May 15th at TripleMania Pro. The Sanchos
and the ATA have been at odds since January 2004, with many wars being fought,
with both teams fairly even. Will the Sanchos hit their 61 Dollar Money Shot?
Or will the ATA continue their dominance in Revolution Pro and earn to right
to face La Familia De Tijuana in the future?
“The Technical Wizard” Joey Ryan
VS.
Ronin
Due to his natural cockblocking ways and due to the ladies of Revolution
X saying that Joseph scared them a little bit, “The Technical Wizard”
Joey Ryan is now a part of Revolution Pro again. Joey Ryan is looking to make
his Revolution Pro return a successful one as he faces one of the fastest rising
stars in Revolution Pro, Ronin. Ronin is looking to climb the ladder in the
rankings, and once again, earn a number 1 contender’s shot at either the Heavyweight
or Jr. title. Joey Ryan has different plans and when asked for comments on his
upcoming match with Ronin, Joseph had these words for his opponent, “There
will be no bonin’ for Ronin when the human cockblock machine Joey Ryan gets
done with him!” Will Joseph’s Revolution Pro return be a successful start?
Or will Ronin maneuver past this crafty competitor?
LUCHA LIBRE ACTION
El Cobarde, Profeta, Black Metal
VS.
Super Kendo, Aluciante, Principe Unlimited
El Cobarde is a former UWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Title, WWA World
Light Heavyweight Title, and WWA World Heavyweight Title. Profeta was part of
last month’s lucha libre match and has been featured in numerous FMLL main events.
Black Metal is no stranger to Revolution Pro, his last appearance in Revolution
Pro was at the Pride of the Mask 3 in October 2003. Super Kendo can be seen
currently in CMLL and occasionally in Michinoku Pro. He has teamed with El Hijo
del Santo numerous times against such rudos like Negro Casas and Blue Panther.
Aluciante has previously wrestled in both Rev Pro, Rev X, and AWS and is an
underrated high flyer. Principe Unlimited is known as “The Golden Child”
of Socal lucha libre. He has also seen past Rev Pro action at the Rev J 2003
and last month’s show.
The Human Tornado
VS.
Johnny Paradise
In a battle between two of the most recognizable Rudos Dojo wrestlers, The
Human Tornado will be looking to take down the arrogant and cocky Johnny Paradise.
At last month’s Revolution Pro show, Paradise turned on his tag team partner
Tornado citing that it was his time to get the spotlight and that Tornado was
hogging all the glory. As every knows, Tornado will go far and beyond the call
of duty sometimes, putting body and care at risk to put his opponent away. Can
the ever-popular Human Tornado shut up the pompous Paradise? Or will the more
experienced Paradise show his seniority and earn the spotlight?
Also, be on the look out for another press release for another huge match to
be announced in the next few days. Rev Pro officials have been working around
the clock to bring the fans this unique and special match. Keep logging onto
