The night started out with MPW World Champion, Judas interrupting the MPW Owner, Triple X who was announcing the inaugural MPW National Championship Tournament. Judas was mad that Brad Maddox let him down, and that Hot Young Briley switched sides on the Cream Boys from the All Star Spectacular II show. Triple X then booked the main event for next week – a Triple Threat match for the MPW World Championship between Hot Young Briley, Brad Maddox, and Judas!
Then, Hobo came out in an impromptu scheduled match against Judas. Judas defeated Hobo.
The MPW National Championship Tournament began – the first match was between The Hellkid and Aleister Corvus. The Hellkid defeated Corvus after 7 suplexes and a pinfall to advance to the second round.
“Prodigy” Preston Moseby returned to MPW and was immediately inserted in the tournament with MPW Great, “Lethal” Logan X. Logan X defeated Moseby with a rear-naked-choke that ultimately caused Moseby to pass out. Logan X advances to the second round.
After the match, Logan X told Moseby that he would like to tag with him.
After Logan X left, Hellkid then attacked Moseby from behind and Logan X returned with a chair to chase The Hellkid off. He then challenged The Hellkid to a tag match with anyone Hellkid chooses for next week. Triple X was there to approve and book the match.
After intermission, Auntie Hydie took on Danny Divine. Divine defeated Hydie via pinfall and advanced to the second round.
Daniel Moon took on El Quetzal and showed off some new power moves in order to advance to the next round. Moon defeated El Quetzal via pinfall.
The Echelon (Bulletproof & Roadblock) challenged the newly crowned MPW Tag Team Champions, Tanaka & Master Flame. The Tag Team Champions would go on to retain the belts with their devastating finisher – Tanaka’s sweeping kick on top of Flame’s spinning roundhouse kick sent Bulletproof to the mat with powerful impact. Tanaka & Master Flame defeated The Echelon via pinfall.
