July 10th’s Championship Wrestling from Hollywood tapings will be their 3rd annual “Red Carpet Rumble.” As with all their TV tapings it will be free admission.

Imperial County’s Venue Wrestling Entertainment, which held their debut show a couple of weeks ago, will be holding their next show on June 17th in Imperial, CA. No lineup has been announced.

San Diego’s Finest City Wrestling has announced Lucha Underground’s Melissa Santos will be hosting their next event on June 18th and their two events on July 22nd and 23rd.

As FCW’s two July events will be taking place during the San Diego Comic Con, a lot of wrestlers and Melissa Santos will be signing at Masked Republic’s booth at the comic con. They will be at booth 1901.

Masked Republic recently announced that Vandal Drummond, who was a very good wrestler in the 90s (and still gets in the ring occasionally), and played a very important role in promoting wrestling in Southern California in the pre-internet age will be writing an article on Gil’s Garage for an upcoming issue of Rudo Can’t Fail magazine. UIPW has announced Caristico,who was Sin Cara in WWE, for their June 11th anniversary show. He will be in a three-way match with Misterioso Jr. and Volador Jr. (who will be just getting back from New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament). They haven’t officially announced the venue, but as reported in May 10th’s SoCal News & Notes it is scheduled to be at the Fox Theater in Pomona (Update: UIPW was unable to secure the Fox Theater, the event will take place at their normal venue).

Joey Ryan will be returning to Japan for DDT Pro starting with their May 21st show.

Peter Avalon will be facing YUMA in Homer, AK on July 1st for Alaska Championship Wrestling.
