SoCal News & Notes 04/04/2016

Here we are again with your occasional SoCal news update. Today’s update includes news for EWF, Cen Cal Pro, Lucha Underground, PCW, and Lucha VaVoom. Click for more.

In case you missed it EWF announced at their April 1st show that “The Future” Frankie Kazarian will be joining Bobby Bradley and Melina Perez as the inaugural inductees to the EWF Hall of Fame. The inductions will take place at EWF’s 20th anniversary show on May 6th in Covina.

Also announced for EWF’s May 6th show is Rocky Romero vs. Adrian Quest and the main event of Uptown Andy Brown challenging Gary Yap’s Man in Black for the EWF title.

EWF has added a women’s match to their April 15th show in San Bernardino. The participants have not yet been announced.

–

San Luis Obispo’s Cen-Cal Pro Wrestling will be holding their next show on May 15th. No lineup has been announced yet.

Lucha VaVoom has announced Extreme Tiger as being a part of their May shows.

–

PCW has announced Scorpio Sky, Adam Hammerstone, and Los Luchas as the first names for their June 4th show in Torrance.

–

Congratulations to Nicole Savoy on becoming the first Heart of Shimmer champion on April 2nd in Dallas, TX. She won a tournament, defeating Candice LeRae and Heidi Lovelace in the finals.

Kobra Moon (Thunder Rosa) will take on Ivellise on this week’s episode of Lucha Underground.
