Mike Johnson of PW Insider is reporting that Chikara Pro Wrestling has cancelled all their remaining events of 2013. With their last event taking place in Philadelphia PA on June 2nd titled the “Trocadero”
December 3rd, SterYetness of our message board reported that Chickara would be holding two events in SoCal, the first in PWG’s area of Reseada on October 26th and in San Diego on the 27th. PWG was quick to tweet that… “We are not involved with any other promotions running in our area next year.”
Mike Johnson elaborated that this could be an elaborate storyline. He also believed that There are unconfirmed rumors that a compromising situation back stage could have cost the front office their strongest financial backer.
Some believe that Chikara will exist only as it’s satellite promotions “Wrestling Is…”
Chikara Pro Wrestling has been around since 2002, some believed Mike Quackenbush was inspired by his time working at Rev Pro’s Revolution J in 2002.
