This Chaos Column is a recap of Vendetta Pro Wrestling “Reflexion 2013” at the Lakeview Jr. High School Gym, Santa Maria.
[Editor’s Note: The VPW Reflexion 2013 Show was a free pre-show to the DGUSA iPPV]
1 – VPW Tri-Force Championship match between El Scorpio del Combate (C), SoCal Crazy, & Lil Cholo. Big mix of lucha libre action, chain wrestling, & counter wrestling ended w/ Lil Cholo scoring the title-clinching pin on El Scorpio del Combate, w/ what looked like a Spinning Reverse STO.

2 – Battle Royal in which the winner would get a title shot of his/her choosing. Why the “her”? The answer is that one of the competitors was female indie star Melissa Coates, who managed to throw out one of the male competitors before being the 4th last wrestler to be thorwn out. That left Rik Luxury, Ricky Ruffin, Nathan Graves, & The Drunken Irishman as the final four. In the end, it was Rik Luxury who threw out the other three, and chose the APW/VPW Unified Tag Team Championship–currently held by The Suburban Commandos–in his quest to become a ” APW/VPW Triple Crown Champion”.
3 – Shane & Shannon Ballard v. Su/Ka (Sunami & Kadin Anthony) ended in a double-countout when both teams brawled to the back.
SM – Billy Blade (w/ Melissa Coates) p. Famous B w/ what looked like a Mid Rope Corkscrew Neckbreaker or Brainbuster.
M – 6-Man Santa Maria Streetfight between Drake Younger & Parental Discretion (Mario Banks & Mike Menace), and Creepshow (Brawlin’ Bo Cooper, J.D. Horror, & Sledge). All 6 men used ECW-ish weapons, from a barbed wire bat, to a barbed wire board. Sledge put Drake Younger through the said barbed wire board, leaving Drake tangled in the barbed wire the rest of the way. Mario Banks & Mike Menace tried to put Bo Cooper through a table, but both men got put through it by Bo in the end, and Bo pinned both members of Parental Discretion for the win.
