Defeating Al Snow last night at TNA’s Bound For Glory, Joey Ryan earned a contract with TNA.
Joey has been feuding with TNA Gutcheck Judges Taz and Al Snow for months. Joey Ryan and the 87% signs have showed up over the weeks on IMPACT with Joey usually getting the upper hand, which led to his TNA PPV Debut last night. The stipulation was if Joey could defeat Al Snow, he’d get a contract.
Joey Ryan is no stranger to wrestling on Television. In Southern California Joey has been featured heavily on the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood as well as it’s previous incarnations. Joey is a former NWA World Tag Team Champion with Machine Gun Karl Anderson. Joey worked as part of the Ring Ka King earlier this year (an India based TNA Wrestling promotion), he was a coach for Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling, and one of the featured tag teams on MTV’s Wrestling Society X. Joey has also appeared for the WWE in many televised matches.
Currently Joey Ryan is the Empire Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion.
