Jay Cal’s View #93

This week, we welcome back the fully functional Jay Cal’s View.  Thanks to ADAIR for launching last weeks, I lost power.  The clip of the week will hopefully make you laugh.  I wrote an article this week for the Examiner talking about CWF Hollywood and how it has evolved over the years, I also talked a little about the NWA/SoCal Connection over the years, anyone else remember Car Consumer Pro?  EPLuchador posted some links to a Lucha Documentary on the page, I pulled some of the info for this week’s view.  Plus this week’s up-coming shows.

Clip of the Week
I needed a good laugh this week.  The title of this clips is “The funny side of indipendant wrestling,” which makes me laugh right there.  See clips from some of the funniest moments with Cabana, Daniels, Punk, and more.  I just felt like a laugh and hope  you do to.

CWF Hollywood
This week I wrote about the evolution of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood from when it started out as part of the New Japan Dojo.  A lot of people have dismissed what David Marquez and company have done in Southern California, but from the New Japan USA – Toukon TV show to today, Marquez really helped a lot of talent gain exposure and get to greater heights.  With Hollywood being forced out, continuing litigation between the new owners and the past, the NWA is experiencing quite a bit of turn over in its membership.  October 1st is when the previous members/associates/affiliates deals expire.
