New Wave presents ”Scars & Stripes” on July 12th

New Wave Pro Wrestling returns to the Kearny Mesa VFW Hall on Sunday July 12th at 5:00PM with “Scars & Stripes.”

SIX MAN TAG MAIN EVENT
SoCal Crazy, Aerial Star, & Amazing Web vs. The Thrash Family (Rotten Ronnie, Bruisin Bobby, & Dirty Dustin)

New Wave Pro Wrestling has added a stipulation to this match. If The Thrash Family wins, Rotten Ronnie receives a title shot in August against SoCal Crazy. If SoCal Crazy’s team wins, Aerial Star gets the title shot in August. Neither of those two men are strangers to one another as both have faced SoCal Crazy numerous times. After last month when SoCal Crazy accidentally cost Aerial Star his match with Ronnie Thrash, can they get along as a team? The Amazing Web seems to be the voice of reason between SoCal and Aerial Star. The Thrash Family is more cohesive than ever. These 3 brothers will do whatever it takes to make sure Ronnie Thrash is standing on top of the New Wave mountain.

NWPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
© El Cartel (Diamond Azul & Angel Santos) vs. Ricky Mandel & Hector Canales

Making their New Wave debut as a team, Mandel & Canales, will have their hands full with the tag team champions. El Cartel is riding a high since defeating Anchors Away last month. Even though their win was tainted by the intrusion of Battleground Pro, they have made it clear that they are not paper champions. In their mind they are very deserving tag team champions. There is no better way to prove their worth than facing a veteran team in Ricky Mandel & Hector Canales.

Locura vs. Roger Ruiz
Locura took home the victory last month against “Bruisin” Bobby Thrash. After the match however it turned out that the elder Thrash actually had a soft spot for the man from the Happy Minds Mental Hospital. With Locura tied up in the ropes and holding a chair ready to attack him, Bobby Thrash instead sat down and had a heart to heart with Locura. Trying to urge him to turn his back on his fans. Locura, already a messed up in the head was even more confused by those actions. Where is Locura’s head at when he faces a newcomer to the New Wave roster in Roger Ruiz? Ruiz has been around Southern California for a little over a year now and has turned some heads in Los Angeles. He is prepared to do what it takes to earn a spot on the New Wave roster.

BEST OF 5 SERIES – MATCH 1
“Zero Gravity” Chris Kadillak vs. “The Rock & Roll Rebel Soul” Johnny Yuma
After falling in two matches to Chris Kadillak, Johnny Yuma suggested to the New Wave higher ups that these two men do a best of 5 series of matches. Yuma firmly believes that he is the better wrestler. Kadillak however holds two victories over Yuma in New Wave. Even though he has the wins, Kadillak agreed to these matches to prove that he is one of the best up and comers in New Wave. These two men have a strong dislike for one another and will hold nothing back in this series of matches.

Chimaera vs. Liger Rivera
Last month it was Chimera and Yuma taking on Kadillak and Rivera. During the match however Rivera and Chimaera got heated and brawled to the locker room, which caused the distraction to Yuma and took the loss for his team. These two gifted high flyers both asked for this match.  They both have watched videos of each other and know what to expect. Only one man will walk away with his hand raised but both men will leave with a mutual respect for one another. This match has the potential to catch the eye of the management of New Wave and get bigger opportunities for both men.

Plus Anchors Away to call out Battleground Pro Wrestling
Chris Lyonz & Hellmuth cost Anchors Away their tag team titles last moth. They have requested New Wave to lift the ban on Battleground to get them face to face in San Diego.
