We are pround to announce that Bill Anderson is the sole person to be elected to join the Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame for 2007.Bill Anderson, began his wrestling training under Kurt Von Steiger in 1973, and had his debut match on June 16th, 1974 in Tuscon, AZ.
Anderson has wrestled all over the world, and held the WWA Heavyweight title in Mexico for over a year, and held the WWA Trios titles with Louie Spicoli and Tim Patterson for over three years.
Despite a great in ring career, Anderson’s biggest contributions to Southern California have come as a trainer and promoter. The Bill Anderson School of Wrestling opened in 1984, and has helped to train such greats as Sting, the Ultimate Warrior, Louie Spicoli, Frankie Kazarian, and Rocky Romero among countless others.
As a promoter, Anderson and fellow Hall of Famer Jesse Hernandez co-promoted WSWA in the late 1980s, then founded EWF in 1996. After a split with Hernandez, Anderson went on to start the IWC.
