SPECIAL BELLTIME: 12:45!

Upon reflection of his earlier statement that the AWS 5-Year Anniversary Show would feature a 2-Ring, 60 Man World War 3 Battle Royal, AWS Kingpin Bart Kapitzke realized something wasn’t right. “That means 30 guys per ring. Guys like Bo, Al Katrazz, Slymm, Biggie… I mean Boom Boom, hell I might even get mad and throw Vander Pyle in there. I’m gonna break those rings if I do that!” But instead of letting the discussion end there, Bart quickly added, “Hell, I guess we’ll just need a third ring!”

That’s right folks, on March 11, 2007 at the AWS 5-Year Anniversary Show you will now all see a THREE-RING, SIXTY MAN, WORLD WAR 3 BATTLE ROYAL!!!!!

But before we get to March, there is still a huge February event to get through! With a special bell time of 12:45, NWA Pro Wrestling presents another great afternoon of action at the Alternative Wrestling Show!

Main Event: Tag Team Turmoil!

Human Tornado & Tommy Wilson vs. Bobby Jo Marshall & Peter Goodman
Last month, Human Tornado got a measure of revenge on long-time rival Bobby Jo Marshall. Marshall who had terrorized the entire NWA and Tornado in particular last summer avoided a one-on-one confrontation with the Nacho Libre star and was eventually sent back to his native Australia by NWA Officials. Upon returning in December Marshall once again targeted Tornado, first eliminating him from December’s Invitational Battle Royal and then taking him out of January’s 4-croners match to crown a new NWA Pro Light Heavyweight Champion. Marshall would answer Tornado’s challenge to a street fight that afternoon, only to see Tornado finally score the pinfall over his most hated foe. At the next AWS event, Marshall and Tornado will go at it again. In order to try and keep it in the ring and not through the crowd, each man is being assigned a tag team partner. Tornado will team up with San Diego’s Tommy Wilson while Marshall partners with the crafty Peter Goodman. Wilson and Goodman have a well-documented history at AWS as well. This event occurs near Valentine’s Day, but there is no love lost between any of these four fighters!

4 Corners Tag Team Title Defense
Champions:
Bump-N-Grind (Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino)

Challengers: The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson)
Challengers: Los Chivos (Kayam y Enigma de Oro)
Challengers: Team Australia (Cameron Wallis & Damian Slater)

The thought of Sexy Chino holding gold in the NWA seemed insane before it happened. Many thought it was a fluke when it became real. Now, in his 5th month holding one half of the NWA Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles, it has become clear – Sexy Chino is no joke and Bump-N-Grind are here to stay! This February will present their toughest challenge to date as Bo and Chino must take on 3 challengers in the same match. This is not an elimination match, so the Champions can lose their belts without even being pinned. The challengers include multiple time Champions and AWS regulars, Los Chivos, the ever dangerous Young Bucks and a new team from our friends in Australia, Cameron Wallis & Damian Slater. Joey Ryan & Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson are waiting in the wings to face whoever comes out on top at the March 5-Year Anniversary Show, but they are going to have to wait until after this colossal match. Be there live to see who holds the belts when the dust clears!

NWA Pro Light Heavyweight Title Defense
Champion:
Disco Machine
Challenger: Rockin’ Randy Rocket

On July 12, 1979 a promotional event at a sporting contest changed the music world forever as Radio DJ Steve Dahl and his Insane Coholips Army invaded Comiskey Park in-between games of a double header pitting the hometown Chicago White Sox against the visiting Detroit Tigers. The event was called Disco Demolition and the chaos that ensued after Dahl blew up a large crate of disco records saw not only the destruction of the playing field as 50,000 fans stormed the grounds to be part of the action, but also saw what many believed to be the final blow in the battle between Rock’N’Roll and Disco. Now, 28 years later, the long dormant battle between the two has boiled over once again! After last eliminating Rockin’ Randy to win the December Invitational Battle Royal, Disco Machine struck another victory for glitter and soul by pinning his musical and in-ring arch rival to win the vacant NWA Pro Light Heavyweight Title. This time it will be one-on-one, Disco Machine vs. Rock’N’Roll Randy Rocket. The power of Rush, Bon Jovi & Bad Company against the glamour of KC & the Sunshine Band, the Village People & Donna Summer! Be there!

Special Challenge Match
Al Katrazz (w/C. Edward Vander Pyle) vs. Markus Riot

Ladies and Gentlemen, we at NWA Pro Wrestling attempt to bring you, the fans, evenly contested, highly competitive matches. The match-makers and promoters throughout the National Wrestling Alliance have a responsibility to the wrestlers to only present matches in which either side has an equal opportunity to come out the victor. Occasionally mismatches occur. Every now and again a personal grudge gets in the way of what is fair and right. On February 18, 2007 in City of Industry, CA one such match shall occur. After the beatdown he suffered attempting to gain favor with Al Katrazz and Vander Pyle, Markus Riot defied all logic and challenged the former AWS Champion to a match. Katrazz is not only a former AWS Champion but also the man who entered Number 1 and defeated 31 other men to retain his title at Bart’s Bunkhouse Brawl. He is a 4-time AWS Tag Team Champion, has headlined Pay-Per-View matches in Japan, was a part of the San Diego Horsemen in Mexico, part of Hardcore Inc throughout the West Coast, and currently one of the stars of MTV’s Wrestling Society X. Markus Riot has a career record of 2-23 in NWA sanctioned matches ranks lowest of all West Coast wrestlers with at least 10 matches of record. Markus Riot’s blood type is the fairly rare A-. Anyone wishing to donate is encouraged to contact www.redcross.com.

Also on the card, great Lucha action featuring:

Lil’ Cholo vs. Nemesis

Plus
Steve Pain vs. Phoenix Star (w/Nikki)

Plus one more big match! Card and talent subject to change without notice. Be sure to join us for this fantastic event as we countdown to Bart and AWS celebrating 5 great years of action!
