Battle Ground Pro returns to Newhall on Sat Oct 14th! Official Preview!

Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Show Preview for Saturday October 14th, 2006!

Battle Ground Pro Wrestling returns to the American Legion Hall 24257 Spruce St. Newhall, CA on Saturday October 14th! Doors are at 7:30pm, and tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for the kids.Main Event Tag Team Match:
Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion “Brawlin” Bo Cooper & Li’l Cholo vs. The Santino Bros (“The Rock Superstar” Kaos & Mongol) w/Jezebel.
Since coming up on the short end of the stick back in June, Kaos has made his intentions very clear-they are to destroy the champion “Brawlin” Bo Cooper and take the Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title out of Newhall and back to Hollywood! Last month, as the champion seemed to be closing in on a victory over Joey Ryan, Kaos finally sprung his master plan. He and cohort Aaron Aguilera attacked Cooper, an attack that culminated in a Kaos frog splash putting Bo Cooper through a table! Before more serious damage could be done, Li’l Cholo came to the rescue, chair in hand. When it came to light that Aaron Aguilera would not be a part of Battle Ground Pro going forward, Kaos wasted no time in enlisting a new partner. When reached for comment, Kaos said, “I had to look no further than my own family, baby! The Santino Brothers will ride once again now that my main man Mongol is by side!” One thing is for sure, the war between Bo Cooper and Kaos has only just begun, my friends!

Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Lucha Libre Title Match: Infernal (c) vs. King Faviano.
Since dethroning Li’l Cholo for the BiG Pro Lucha Libre title in August, Infernal’s bad attitude has only gotten worse. He successfully met the open challenge of “Marvelous” Markus Riot last month (with an assist from Preston Scott, of course) and declared post match “there ain’t no one that can beat me, no one!” Challenger King Faviano is a talented veteran, well versed in lucha libre, grappling, slapstick comedy, and shoot fighting. Will that potent combination be enough to topple the champion and bring home the gold?

“Wholesome” JT Hyatt vs. The Human Tornado.
The Human Tornado shocked the Battle Ground Pro fans last month when after coming up short in his triple threat match against the popular JT Hyatt and hated Disco Machine he snapped, viciously attacking JT Hyatt. That attack was capped off by a double knee stomp off the top rope onto the metal garbage can Tornado had placed upon JT Hyatt’s head. Tornado followed that by nearly getting into a physical altercation with some of Hyatt’s many fans in attendance. Will Hyatt get his revenge on Oct 14th when he steps into the ring with Tornado and his new attitude? What role will Disco Machine play in this scenario? We find out next Saturday!

“The Role Model” Preston Scott w/Ray “Boom-Boom” Murillo vs. “Marvelous” Markus Riot-STREET FIGHT!
Since returning to wrestling action several months ago, Preston Scott has made himself many enemies and no friends (save his personal security officer, the erstwhile “Boom-Boom”). His constant interference cost Li’l Cholo his Lucha Libre title, and last month cost Markus Riot his chance to wear that gold. These two will finally settle their differences once and for all when they square off in a no DQ, no count out, street fight! Anything goes when these two guys step into the squared circle to do combat. Only the strong will survive.

Foob Dogg vs. Commissioner Jason Bennett in a special 5-MINUTE CHALLENGE MATCH!
For months, Commissioner Bennett has tried unsuccessfully to rid Battle Ground Pro of one Foob Dogg. Each month, Foob has returned to embarrass and enrage the Commissioner. Last month, Foob put his career on the line against Bennett’s mystery opponent, “The Professional” Scott Lost. Despite the Commissioner’s best efforts, Foob came out victorious. Not only did he win a lifetime contract with BiG Pro, he also earned himself 5 minutes ALONE in the ring with the Commissioner! Let’s hope the Commish has something up his sleeve, otherwise, this may not be pretty!

Joey Harder vs. Ray Kejimura.
Last month, Joey Harder solidified himself as one of the most dangerous competitors in Battle Ground Pro Wrestling as he not only defeated his nemesis Brandon Nitro, but he severely injured his shoulder in the process. Nitro’s injury will keep him from competing on Oct 14th, but he has promised to be in attendance. Harder’s opponent Ray Kejimura comes to us courtesy of Pro Wrestling IRON up north and is no push over, to say the least. Will the combination of Kejimura’s potent ground attack and Nitro’s attendance be enough to throw Harder off his game?

Round two of the tournament to crown the very first Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions! Four-way elimination match: The Ballard Brothers vs. Devilishly Sexy (“Sexy” Sonny Samson & Diablo) vs. The Young Bucks (Slick Nick & Mr. Instant Replay) vs. The Awesome Plague & Crayz w/Commissioner Jason Bennett.
Last month, the Stepfamily emerged victorious in the first round of the tourney, putting them into the finals on November 4th. Who will their opponents be? This will be one for the ages!

Also appearing: Hook Bomberry, Midnight Dynamite, Nikki, The Stepfamily, and much more!

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for kids. Bell time is 8pm. We have a full service snack bar with snacks, soft drinks, and BEER. We promise to have even MORE chairs this time around, really. Support indy wrestling, see you on October 14th!!
