NWA Pro/AWS Heavyweight Championship
Champion: Al Katrazz (w/Vander Pyle)
Challenger: Human Tornado
After months of waiting, former AWS Champion Human Tornado will finally get
a one-on-one shot to take the belt back from Al Katrazz. Al Katrazz is not only looking to keep his title, but he is also looking for revenge against one half of the tag team that beat him at the NWA super show, the Wrestling Summit, in Las Vegas, just last week. In the history of the AWS title, no man has ever been able to regain the belt after losing it. Can Tornado make history or will Al Katrazz continue his impressive reign?

NWA Pro Tag Team Championship
Champions: Midnight Dynamite (Charles Mercury & Johnny Paradise)
Challengers: Bump-N-Grind (Brawlin’ Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino)
In an era where championship reigns seem to come and go without lasting impact, Charles Mercury & Johnny Paradise’s stranglehold on the NWA Pro Tag Team Titles has been a feat worthy of note. A successful defense at “Prelude to a Slaughterhouse” and Midnight Dynamite will equal the 9-month title reign of Los Chivos from 2005, which stands as the longest in AWS history. Unfortunately for Merc & Jerk, their opponents appear to be a team of destiny. Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino thought they had the belts won once already, only to be denied victory on a technicality. No one has put more heart and soul into their Frank ‘N’ Sons outings than Bo & Chino. Will these two men reach their destiny this Saturday or will Midnight Dynamite save their place in the record books?

Special Tag Team Grudge War!
LA Light Heavyweight Champion Lionheart & Joey Ryan
Vs. Lil’ Cholo & Tommy Wilson
Next month’s main event is already set! Cholo will face Lionheart inside a steel cage to try and regain the LA Light Heavyweight Title. But before that climactic battle is waged, the penultimate round in the Cholo vs. Lionheart feud is set for this Saturday. At the lumberjack match which saw Lionheart take the belt, Joey Ryan stuck his nose in the middle of the fighting only to have Tommy Wilson, who beat Ryan in a 6-Man Scramble earlier that day, come to Cholo’s aide. Now, these four men will do battle in tag team action. Cholo and Lionheart can’t wait until October 21st in the cage to get their hands on each other and there is also some unfinished business between Ryan and Wilson. This one should be a barnburner!

NWA British Commonwealth Title
Champion: Paul Tracey
Challenger: “Iceman” Webster Dauphiney
Much of the Southern California title scene of early 2006 revolved around a new belt to the area, but a major one throughout the NWA. The NWA British Commonwealth Title has quickly reached world renown stature thanks to men like Ireland’s Fergal Devitt, Canadians Dru Onyx & Justin White, American Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson, Russia’s Alex Koslov and more. The belt now finds itself around the waist of Ireland’s Paul Tracey, one of the pound-for-pound best unknown wrestlers anywhere in the business. SoCal veteran “Iceman” Webster Dauphiney, recently back to “John Black-like” form, has never passed up an opportunity and when he heard that the BC Title was back in the area, was the first one to get his name on a contract. Tracey has his work cut out for him if he wishes to be victorious in his AWS debut and return to Ireland with the belt.

Babi Slymm vs. Rocky Romero
The C.E.O. of Keep It Gangsta looks to make his mark by taking on “Mr. Azucar” Rocky Romero. Slymm, the very first AWS Champion, has never backed down from a challenge and a challenge is exactly what he will get from Rocky Romero. Romero is the current CMLL Super Ligero Champion and an internationally respected competitor known for his matches in NJPW, ROH, WXW and more. Slymm has polished his game to a level unreached in his short career. Rarely does a man enter a match the underdog when he is 7 inches taller and 100 pounds heavier, but that is exactly the position that Slymm finds himself in. Can Slymm and his “gangstas” pull off the upset or will Romero’s return to Frank ‘N’ Sons be victorious?

Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) vs. Peter Goodman & Shawn Riddick
The NWA Pro Wrestling Summit in Las Vegas, NV featured huge names from the sport of professional wrestling including El Hijo del Santo, Sean Waltman, Rey Misterio Sr., LA Park, Frankie Kazarian, Konnan and more. But when all was said and done, the hands down stars of the show were two young luchadors who are no strangers to Frank ‘N’ Sons Arena, former AWS Tag Team Champions, Los Luchas – Phoenix Star & Zokre! As one team makes their return to City of Industry, another attempts to build on recent success as Goodman & Riddick look to continue the win streak they started against the Young Bucks last show. This one has a great shot of stealing the show!

“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce & The Awesome Plague (w/ Vander Pyle)
Vs. The Young Bucks (Slick Nick & Mr. Instant Replay)

If ever there was a time for the Young Bucks to pull off an upset over a bigger, more-experienced tag team, this is it! The 5-year wrestler/manager relationship of Pearce and Vander Pyle has been pushed to the brink after a string of losses. Despite their continual claim that calmer heads will prevail, we have seen just the opposite from these two long time friends as pushing and slapping have become commonplace after losses. Can the Young Bucks take advantage of the disarray in the house of Vander Pyle or will this finally be the victory needed to put Pearce back on the winning track at Frank ‘N’ Sons?

All this action plus a HUGE announcement about October 7th, as well, as the first names announced for the 3rd annual Halloween Slaughterhouse, to be held on October 21st! Bart and the folks at the Alternative Wrestling Shop also invite you to come on over and buy all the rare wrestling merchandise you can get your grubby little hands on!

If you’re not there, the terrorists win!

Card subject to change without notice.
