AWS Champion The Human Tornado, Aaron Aguilera, Babi Slymm & The Legendary Sexy Chino
(with El Jefe)
Vs.
“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, Al Katrazz, The Plague & Crayz
(with C. Edward Vander Pyle)

Mil Mascaras, Samoa Joe, Blue Panther, American Dragon, Konnan, Frankie Kazarian, La Parka, Nozawa, Colt Cabana, Rey Misterio Sr, El Felino, Manny Fernandez, Rocky Romero, Shocker, Damian 666, Sonjay Dutt, Balls Mahoney, El Canek and many, many more. What do they have in common? They are just some of the international superstars who have come through the curtain at AWS in its illustrious four-year history. They have competed in some of the greatest matches in the company’s history, but none of them have ever competed in the most brutal match in professional wresting. They have all gone into battle, but none of them have gone to WAR!

Saturday March 18, 2006 AWS presents a modified version of WAR GAMES! 8 of the most beloved, most hated and most successful wrestlers to ever compete in an AWS ring will enter a single 16-foot high steel cage (The FnS Arena cannot accomodate the traditional, double ring version). 2 men start out, and then a coin flip determines which team gets to send in another man at the 5 minute mark. Teams alternate sending in a man each of the next 3 minutes until all 8 men are inside the cage. Then begins the Match Beyond! One pinfall or submission later, this war will finally be over! Here are your competitors:

The Human Tornado – The current AWS Heavyweight Champion and former AWS LA Light Heavyweight Champion. The most energetic and charismatic superstar in Frank ‘N’ Sons history, Tornado has feuded individually and collectively with every member of the opposition. Not only did he reveal Adam Pearce to be Masked Spymaster #2, but he also took the AWS title from him and successfully defended it the last time there was a Steel Cage match in City of Industry. Recent defenses against Al Katrazz and Plague have only strengthened Tornado’s reign and the animosity between the men.

Adam Pearce – One of 3 men to ever hold the AWS Heavyweight Title and a former AWS Tag Team Champion. Throughout his career Pearce has always been at the forefront of every company he has entered. A former champion in PWG, UPW, MAW, IWA-Mid South and more, Pearce is currently climbing the ranks in ROH while maintaining his position among the AWS elite. His feuds with Babi Slymm and Human Tornado have covered most of the past two years of AWS History and his recent break from Hardkore Inc. partner Aaron Aguilera has set the City of Industry on fire.

Aaron Aguilera – To some he will always be “Jesus” the man who fought John Cena in front of millions on WWE Pay Per View over the U.S. Title. To the rest of us, the former “Hardkore Kidd” will always be Aaron, the 100% Rudo Hardcore Luchador! Aguilera’s dominance of the SoCal scene for the past 7 years is unparalleled. Whether in singles action or as a part of Hardkore Inc, the most decorated tag team this state has seen in 30 years, Aaron Aguilera is as much a part of the fabric of AWS as Frank ‘N’ Sons itself. His feud with former allies Al Katrazz and Adam Pearce has lit up the ring for months and is the main ammunition in the war about to take place.

Al Katrazz – Has held the AWS Tag Team titles on 4 occasions with 3 different partners (Pearce, Aguilera and Skulu) and won the last AWS Invitational Battle Royal a year ago last eliminating Takashi Yoshida and Mr. Fantastic (who was believed to have died of injuries suffered at the hands of Katrazz’s heart punch). Al Katrazz has been a mainstay in the AWS since it’s inception. His feud with Babi Slymm three years ago helped put AWS on the SoCal map. His recent alliance with Vander Pyle’s legion has seen him go from Tag Team specialist back to main event title shot status. His intense hatred of former partner Aaron Aguilera cannot be fathomed by even his closest allies and will not be sedated until one of them is destroyed, but he may well end up the AWS Champ first!

Babi Slymm – The first AWS Heavyweight Champion, Slymm outlasted Samoa Joe and Frankie Kazarian in a match that also included Adam Pearce and saw no victory claimed. The rematch between the two will go down in the annals of SoCal wrestling as one of the most bizarre sights to ever be seen in a wrestling ring. The AWS Idol match saw both men sing to the crowd before Slymm defeated his longtime rival Pearce to become the first champion. He subsequently had successful title defenses against American Dragon, Joey Ryan, Scorpio Sky, B-Boy and more before his manager Vander Pyle turned on him and cost him the title to Masked Spymaster #2 (Pearce). In the year since Slymm has feuded with Pearce and anyone Vander Pyle associated with including a monumental feud with The Plague that was supposed to culminate in last month’s tables match. Instead, the feud continues on and will resume inside the steel cage at War Games!

The Plague – When AWS debuted four years ago this man-monster was not even competing in the world of professional wrestling. Instead he was competing in strength exhibitions throughout the West Coast when one day he heard his calling. That calling was to destroy. Since that day, the Plague has set out to destroy any and everything that gets in his way. His strength based background and natural agility have produced one of the most feared men in wrestling today. The sheer power it took to manhandle Babi Slymm the way he has on several occasions is simple mind-boggling. Plague has been able to not only gorilla press the big man, but also do reps with him up there! When Plague attacked Slymm and threw him out of the ring and through two tables on the floor it caused everyone in wrestling to take notice. The Plague is devastation waiting to happen. There is no wonder Vander Pyle calls him the secret weapon in War Games.

Sexy Chino – Perhaps the most beloved wrestler in Southern California, Chino has become the great unknown in AWS. Which Chino will show up? The one who lost every match for a full year, taking some of the worst beatings in Frank ‘N’ Sons history or the one who pinned Adam Pearce in the middle of the ring and followed that up with pinfalls over Biggie Biggz and Viper at the Five Matches For Five Bucks Shows? Will it be the Chino who gets carried to the back after being destroyed or the one who outsmarted Vander Pyle and cost the Plague his title shot against Human Tornado? A chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link, and Chino knows the burden of War Games may be on his shoulders.

Crayz – If Sexy Chino is the great unknown, then Crayz is the great enigma. How does a man with his ability and strength keep coming up missing, some times for years at a time, in the SoCal wrestling scene? Crayz has held his own with everyone he has ever stepped into the ring with and yet his destructive nature has apparently cost him several key positions throughout his career. It would appear that Crayz could be a champion if he focused himself, but most believe that he is much happier just fighting and hurting people. When Bart Kapitzke made the announcement that these men would be entering the steel cage for War Games, Crayz was the only one on his side who was smiling. Is this what the lunatic wanted? Is this part of his master plan to bring pain and chaos everywhere he goes? Does Vander Pyle really have him under control like he claims?

El Jefe & C. Edward Vander Pyle – The male manager has become nearly extinct in the professional wrestling landscape. These two men are some of the last of their kind. While El Jefe is enjoying a semi-retirement and only showing up on special occasions, Vander Pyle is one of the most active and successful managers in wrestling today. The cage is designed to keep these men out, but it is clear that their influence will be all over this match.

“This match may well be the defining moment in AWS History.” – Bart Kapitzke

If that doesn’t sum it up, nothing will.

ALSO SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 18th!

No Disqualification for the AWS LA Light Heavyweight Title
Champion: Lil’ Nate
Challenger: Lil’ Cholo
These men have exchanged DQ victories at the last two AWS events. That will not be the case this time as there will be no DQs, no count outs, no holds or weapons barred. While many are hoping that the street fight will extend itself out into the den of kids playing Magic: The Gathering, the real question is whether or not the fighting will even end once a victor is named and the bell has rung. The 8 men in the main event are not the only ones going to war!

3-Way Dance for the AWS Tag Team Titles
Champions: Midnight Dynamite (Johnny Paradise & Charles Mercury)
Challengers: Los Chivos (Kayam y Enigma de Oro)
Challengers: Junior & R2K
New Champions Midnight Dynamite were expecting Los Chivos to demand an immediate rematch after losing their titles at AWS: Smashing Tables. What they were not expecting was for former Champions Junior & R2K to cash in their rematch clause at the same time. Los Chivos lost the belts once and immediately won them back. Junior & R2K were able to capture the belts by sneaking out a victory in the midst of the natural chaos of a 3-Way Dance. The new Champs definitely have their hands full in their first defense.

Return Grudge Rubber Match
Scorpio Sky vs. Alex Koslov

Twice these men have battled to the end of their fifteen allotted minutes. Twice Alex Koslov had Scorpio Sky in his Red Scare submission move. Once the time expired. Once Sky rolled Koslov over for the pin with 4 seconds remaining. Twice Alex Koslov has felt robbed. Will the third time be the charm for the Russian Holligan or will Scorpio Sky find his hand raised again in victory?

Lucha Libre Showcase Tag Match
Durango Kid y Chilango
vs. Shamu Jr y Acero Dorado

These four men who can regularly be seen as part of the NWA Pro/Inoki Dojo showcases on Sunday afternoons are no strangers to the AWS ring. Lucha Libre has always been a huge part of the Alternative Wrestling Show. At the 4 year anniversary, Bart has brought back some of the men who helped get AWS off the ground for this spectacular match.

Lionheart vs. Pete Goodman
When Lionheart outlasted 5 other men in the Free For All match at AWS: Smashing Tables he earned the right to challenge for any title in AWS. Rather than cash that in right away, Lionheart has chosen to try and silence the loud mouthed Pete Goodman. Goodman has not stopped complaining since taking the pinfall from Lionheart in the Free For All. These two men are no strangers to each other and this battle for pride has the ability to steal the show at AWS: Total War.

Brawlin’ Bo Cooper vs. Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson
One of the AWS mainstays takes on one of its most talented newcomers. Cooper has been a house of fire since his return from a career threatening injury last year. Anderson has come up on the losing end of a four corners tag and 6 man Free For All in AWS, but neither time was he the man defeated. After demanding a singles match Anderson was rewarded with the man who is lewd, crude and tattooed. On a night that will see War Games and a Street Fight, this may be the biggest brawl of them all!

We hope to see all of SoCal out for the festivities as Bart celebrates four years of bringing you the best wrestling action available by, well… bringing you the best action available! Please join us in a rousing “Thank You Bart!” and a huge “Thank You AWS!”
