2005 Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame inductions

This year three new members join the Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame, as we are proud to announce the inductions of Black Gordman, Hijo del Santo, & Lou Daro.To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, nominees needed to be listed on 60% of the ballots that were returned by a special panel of voters that include long time fans, wrestlers, promoters, and wrestling historians.

Both Black Gordman and Hijo del Santo were named on 75% of the returned ballots.

This year there it was decided to hold a special election as well, so that Southern California legends that may not ever be elected due to how long ago the time period their career took place, would not be excluded. Lou Daro has been elected to the Hall of Fame in this special election, though he was listed on only 25% of total ballots.
